Yaaaay twila! Congrats!

Congrats on the twins!

p.s. what is the car seat test?

A carseat test is done on infants born before 37 weeks gestation. The baby is placed in the carseat and monitored for a period of time (1 1/2 hrs where I work). It is done to make sure that the baby will be able to tolerate being in that position without any breathing problems.

Hi everyone

got a question that hope someone may be able to answer...

We were in the process of sorting insurance ready for me moving to America, just found out we're unexpectedly expecting, and most policies won't cover maternity until they've been in force for 10 months.

For maternity care if we use HRSA is that classed as being a burden on the State?

Thanks

Haha, don't. You won't see anything during the birth of your baby. I didn't even want a mirror. Really...it was enough to feel a head coming out of me, I didn't want to see it too.:no:

i had another weird dream. this time i looked at my belly and all of the sudden it was way smaller, but not hard how it is now, it was like i had only fat.

i was afraid i lost the baby, but nothing happend for me to have lost, like no cramps, no bothing coming out of my vaJJ. so i started to try to poke my belly to feel the baby and it was like my skin was elastic, i culd touch the baby, i felt his foot and i almost grabbed his hand

and the baby was moving, really weird.

Looking for help what do you do when all your baby wants to do is be held? I try to get her to play with her toys, her exerciser, gym mat, sit in her bumbo chair, jolly jumper. They only work for a few minutes and than she starts crying. There are times she really works herself into a states. She gets all sweaty and red in the face. What am I suppose to do. At 5 months my baby is more clingy than at birth. Help.

Get a good comfy carrier like the Ergo or something where you can put baby on your back. Maybe that will help.

Good luck all the best.

new orleans--

I think our little ones get fixated on one thing and that's all they want. My little guy wants his feet to be bare so he can stick them in his mouth--I think he'd play with his feet 5 hours a day if he could!

Your best bet is a good distraction--or a comfy carrier, like Eveline says! Maybe a change of scenery? Get out of the house and go watch some bigger kids? My son LOVES going over to friends' houses that have 2-5 year olds--not that he can really play with them yet, but he just likes to watch.

I'm sure that it is just a phase--soon she'll be moving around so fast you'll WISH she just wanted to be held!

Good luck!
