i know!! i'm gonna talk to my doctor, because of my accident and my fractured pelvis, they said that if the pressure was too much, if the baby sits in there and is too heavy, it's possible i'll need a c-section.

Girl, you need some. They're relatively inexpensive and they help tremendously. Get the one that it looks like very high-waisted underwear. They are awesome for your belly and back. Give you some control and support. I wear mine everyday.

It will be worth your while. I use mine especially for my walking - I was getting some crazy pains :crying: and it helps to truly alleviate them. Keeps constant pressure on my belly so that it doesn't get lose or anything.

Twila congratulations!!! They are adorable! What a great size for twins!

@Nessa: you have a fractured pelvis? I had one from giving birth. My doctor told me that after that, I can only deliver again via c-section. I'm not so sure how credible that statement is though. It seems to hae healed fine.

@Stina: glad that Kavi is doing fine! Any results yet?

@autum: yay for Declan crawling! It's amazing how every Baby has his own pace. Ben has only attempted to scoot, but only if it's really worth it, haha. But he started pulling himself up all the way and he is standing up now with his arms leaning on the couch or his toy chest.

i had 3 broken bones there when i was 20 years old. the doctor back then said i could only deliver via c-section. the doctros here said they want to do vaginally. i plan on having something in written that they were told about it, because if something happens to me and i am disabled for months, i'll sue the hel! out of them like the good american i've become.

 That's what I should have done... I wasn't americanized enough then. They actually never diagnosed it until after they discharged me on double oxycodone. They did an x-ray but no doctor ever looked at it, and the nurses just dispensed pain killers and kept telling me to suck it up and get my butt out of bed. If it wasn't for my hubby, I couldn't have been able to even sit up in bed. He carried me to the bathroom and took care of the baby and got me a wheelchair and all that handicapped equipment from his work. I knew there was something wrong, but nobody even bothered to help me. Whenever they asked me to rate my pain on a scale of 1-10 I said 10 or 11. On the rare occasion that I saw a doctor, and they asked how I was doing I told him I was miserable but nothing happened! I wonder why they have that pain-o-meter! Finally my husband flipped out and made them acutally look at my file. I'm so angry. Get everything in writing. That's the lesson I learned.

yeah the thing is i don't have anything in writting fropm my doctor in brazil. that happened 10 years ago and i've moved like 6 times ever since. i don't have x-rays, medical records, nothing. it's only my word. I'm telling the doctors, i was told to never give birth vaginally, it's only my word. but if they insist, i do want to have something in writting saying they were warned.
