Dakota, I think finding out you are pregnant is kind of like sitting at the top of a roller coaster - you are excited and panicky and a million different things at once knowing you cant really stop whats going to happen. Its normal to be nervous even if you planned it! But you have several months to get ready for it :) Congratulations

Twila - wow, congrats on making it to 36 weeks. I cant wait to see a pic of those 2 :) I bet you and hubby and family are super excited! Good luck with everything.

Dakota: When we made the decision to start trying to concieve, we never in a million years thought it would happen the first month, much less with twins. It is scary. I think once your find out, as much as you may have wanted it to happen, the reality of it starts to set in and a little fear, panic, and doubt is normal. I saw it much more so with my husband than myself. He was worrying about how he was going to take care of me and provide for two little ones. Now the man is having a hard time waiting until Friday to meet his children! Just take a deep breath and allow yourself some time for it to set in.

@Twila oh that it so exciting Friday is not too long.

Well so last night he toldme he does not really want it and would prefer an abortion. Only a pregnant woman knows how hurt I am by that, it feels like knifestabs in my chest. I dont see it as a random baby in me I see it as a part of me.

I hope he will change his mind as I cried all night and slept maybe 3 hours max, now I have to go to work and my eyes are swollen like crazy.

@Daktota; good to see you in the Baby corner! I can't imagine how you must feel now. a surprise pregnancy is a scary thing but it is worse with a unsupportive husband. I agree with Twila and Sara. It's a rollercoaster ride. But I'm sure you will both do fine as parents. You will have 9 months to prepare for the baby and you will be so impatient to meet him/her that you will not imagine how you were scared in the beginning! haha! Good luck to you!!

@Twila: oooh I'm so exited for you! You're such a trooper, you've made it so far and never complained! I know those surfactant shots are not fun.I hated giving them to women. All the best with the delivery! I can't wait to see pictures of the double trouble!

Ok...get me off of this rollercoaster ride! Where should I start? So...my ob tells me yesterday tentatively a c-section for Friday. My nurse tells me this morning she heard Thursday. Then...the peri comes in this morning and sees no reason to schedule one yet and thinks because I am stable we should just go back to watchful waiting. Ok. So my ob orders another 24 hr urine test and an u/s. Well...one the babies (the constantly stubborn one whom has shown he has loved to sleep since the 18 wk anatomy scan) got a lower score on the biophysical profile because he refused to move his arms and legs in response to a very loud sound over his ear. He moved his body, stuck out his tongue, was breathing up a storm, just didn't want to do anything but chill. So...now I am not allowed anything to eat or drink after midnight, and if he doesn't pass the next bpp at 5 am tomorrow, then they will probably have their birthday tomorrow!

Twila, all the best! Hope the babies are fine! If there's any doubt, make them do the c-section asap. I think you're at a great gestational time for having twins! Good luck! i hope you get some sleep!

Twila@ Good luck with the little one, I', sure everyting will be fine

Dakota@ I know exactly how are you feeling, I was so nervous and scared in the beginning, we have been married for 4 years and kept postponing the baby idea, although we had both families asking for a little one for the longest time. We finally agreed to start trying this past October so he could have a summer baby this year but I guess life had different plans for us,I got pregnant in July.

Hubby was in shock the first days but then he started planning our life with his new baby BOY, you can imagine his surprise when we found out that we were expecting a girl. Now he is in heaven and can't stop talking about his little Princess and how much he is going to spoil her. He talks to the belly all the time (and keeps telling her that she won't have a boyfriend until she finishes her MBA, hahahaha)

Be positive, I'm sure alot of the mommies from the "baby corner" passed though the same , it's definitely a rollercoaster but a blessing at the same time. Good luck girl!!!

moelarrychesse@ Beautiful baby! congrats!!

I had an appointment yesterday and as usual we got to see little Sofia, she kept moving and moving but was facing down. The doctor told us that she looks great even better, she is a big baby and has the measures of a 26 week old baby, I'm just 24 weeks. My hubby was laughing when the doc said that because he was a huge baby, 10 pounds, so Sofi is definitely a Mazzella, OMg that is going to hurt. And then at night around 2.10am I woke up with a horrible cramp on my leg, I made my poor hubby jump, he thought there was something wrong with the baby but boy it really hurt, so much that I cried :crying:

Hope you have a great night

Hugs

Vi
