Do you think it's too early to have a 3D4D u/s at 23 weeks? I mean, will i get good shots of the baby or should i wait til he's bigger?

@ NEssa: You do want to do it around that time - cause later on baby is too big and you won't get good shots. Now you'll have all those cute movements and can see everything really well. Both my sister and I had it around this time. Later on (and I saw it, I had ultrasounds a lot due to cervix measurements, it got short, too short quickly) baby is squeezed in there tightly and kind of stuck in his/her position, so you can't get them to turn easily and look into the "camera".

Good luck with the surgery!

Pumps: I did have better results though with the hospital grade pump. But overall I had to fight an oversupply issue when Jona learned how to latch and we had to wean from the pump, it's quite a fragile balance there!

oh, so you guys don't have a pump at home? i was wondering how long doers it take with an electric pump. I don't want to spend $200 in a pump that will take only 5 minutes less than a $50 one

If you will be going back to work, I recommend investing in a good double electric pump. It takes me 15 minutes and it's easy to clean and carry. Plus, I've heard they are much more reliable. ( I never used anything other than my Medela, but I wasn't willing to risk it)

I've been very happy with my pump and I work full time.

how about reigsitry? should i register in 2 different places? if so, should i have the same items in both places or divide some items from one and some from another?

I registered at both Target and Babies r Us. I had different things on each registry because I worried that I would get duplicate gifts otherwise.

Thanks everyone for the support. I know he will be fine, but I just hate him having anesthesia again. I'll keep you guys posted

target and babiesrus is my plan. i thought about registering at aafes, but the it's too much. they can always take a look at my registry in one of the other places and buy it at aafes if they want.

Nessa" I was registered at Target, Right Start (just the carseat there), Lullaby Lane (most things there, it THE store in the Bay Area where we lived at that time) and Oompa Toys (mainly cause I dislike plastic toys and wanted to make sure nobody buys them). In the end we mostly got checks - so I bought most of my stuff at Amazon.... No shipping, no tax. In most cases it's cheaper than AFEES. I bought the Medela Swing (single, electric pump) which serves us well (occasional to daily pumping, depends, so that hubbie can feed our son too and hence bond better with him). I bought it at Target for ease of returning it in case it breaks - when I bought it we had four possible assignments for the next 4 years and not all places have all stores.

BTW what I love love love is buying diapers online. No tax, no shipping and delivered directly at to our door Either Amazon or Diapers.com - they have ALL brands and ALL sorts of diapers, and it really took some time to figure out which ones are best for us (7th Generation or Huggies Nature Fit).
