I craved sushi in both pregnancies and I had plenty of sushi....I loved it...and I mean any kind of sushi. It was great

i always thought you couldent eat sushi as its raw fish.....plus i crave mustard on toast, nothing else on it just mustard.

With Dylan i craved mashed potatos constantly!

Well, it is not recommended to eat raw fish during pregnancy but you can eat it. I never really worried too much about what or what not to eat. I had coffee, a little wine...etc. After all you are supposed to feel comfortable. The only thing I really did was boil my hotdogs and I didn't have any lunchmeat (except once).

i craved sweets with Dylan, suffice to say he very much turned out to be a boy, but then for 7 months we were told we were having a girl.....i'm very wary of ultrasounds stating if its a boy or girl!

I had a week where I craved McDonald's hamburgers, not something I ate a lot before I got pregnant. I also had a week where I craved wonton egg drop soup .... which normally I don't care for much. Generally, I ate really healthy throughout the pregnancy, but towards the end, I started craving chocolate like crazy.

Vi: I just saw that you are with Montefiore! Do you live in the NY area? Which hospital are you planning on having the baby?

We went to North Montefiore (the old Our Lady of Mercy Hospital) for that test but honestly we don't ever want to go back, it was poorly run. Our other option is a hospital in New Rochelle, we have to check it first, I hope I like it because I don't want to go back to Montefiore. Oh, Sil just told me that there are a few Montefiore hospitals in NYC.

About cravings, I love this peruvian dish called "papa a la huancaina" = cooked potatoes with a creamy sauce made with milk on top, is delicious  . The first time I mentioned that to my mom she said, "Ok, you are having a girl,if you crave food with milk means that you are having a girl", it was so funny and we didn't believe her prediction, she said that because she craved that dish when she had me and my sister.

On the other hand I started hating my favorite dish in the whole world, its called "ceviche" the peruvian version make with raw fish cooked in lemon . When me and hubby go to peruvian Restaurants he orders a dish for two and I refuse to eat, it's so funny. And here it comes my mom again, she craved that dish when she had my brother.

Accordding to her

Milk = girls

fish + Boys

I didn't stop eating my delicious Dark chocolate, it's like a drug for me, I just love it!

chnst those pics of Ben are fantastic! he's super cute.

Nessa and Staashi - you two are like neck and neck. Imagine if there are two VJ babies born on the same day!

my ticker does the countdown, how many weeks until the baby is born, and hers does the how many weeks she is. so she's one week ahead of me.

And I'm one week behind!

@Vi: OMG, I had a car accident right across the road of that hospital at 6 months pregnant and had to go to that ER and maternity unit to get checked out. It was horrible... There are better Montefiore hospitals though.

If it isn't too far away for you, I recommend St. Lawrence in Bronxville/Scarsdale. They just renovated the entire Maternity unit this summer- all private rooms. I liked it overall (just my doctor was a loser)

Hope everyone had a good thanksgiving.

@Zaidsmommy: wow, I can't believe how much hair he has now!!

All the new pics are great and look how big they are getting.

About changing table it is up to you. We have one with a dress under it. We also used a pack and play changer for downstairs. We don't use it anymore because Jay just rolls over and wants to crawl out.

Cravings I craved avocados and frozen fruit bars.

We had to adjust the crib Jay is now pulling up to everything on here feet and if I leave one room she crawls fast to catch up with me.

I feel for you ladies waking up every hour I hope it gets better soon.

The video of Zaid is so cute.
