i've been googling, but i can't find ahything, can the baby car seat be in the far right back seat or is it mandatory to be in the middle back seat?

May 7, 2008 -- The safest spot for a baby's car seat is in the center of the back seat rather than on the sides, according to a new study.

"Children seated in the center rear have a 43% lower risk of injury compared with children in a rear outboard position."

you should listen to your hubby........

you told me to read about it. it's pretty obvious what's the safest, my question is if it's forbidden or if it's ok, since we don't have a middle seat :bonk:

:secret: you'll also find a baby seat won't fit in the seats in the back of the camaro, too narrow.

unless they make car seats that are 1' or less wide, it's not gonna happen in the camaro.

Airbags

The back seat is the safest place for a child to ride. It is estimated that children ages 12 and under are 36% less likely die in a crash if they ride seated in the rear seat of a passenger vehicle.

* Children ages 12 and under should ride buckled up in a back seat.

when I went shopping with my co-worker, she put her 4 year old daughter car seat in the back seat of the camaro. I'm pretty sure an infant car seat is gonna fit. we just need to check sizes before buying it.

Britax is great. We just bought the Britax Boulevard as 2nd carseat (9-65 pounds, rear or forward facing for later) as Jona outgrew his Maxi Cosi infant carseat ( http://www.csnbaby.com/asp/show_detail.asp...id=FR51-MXC1022 )... Isn't it a joy to spend so much $$$ for carseats! ;)

gonna get the new model camero?

it's not really giving us a lot of problems, just upkeep on it took a major toll a few months ago. plus it's almost 13 years old now.
