Nessa: How can I post pictures??

do you have a photobucket account? are they .jpg extension? if .jpg you can always do a file attachment if you don't have a photobucket account (which is free).

We meet with a second physical therapist and she said Jaylyn looked great. She is at 10 month developmentally is what she told us. The speech thearpist comes on Monday. I think she is fine because she loves to talk to me or any stranger.

A speech therapist for a six month old? I don't remember if I missed anything that happened to Kayla or so but is there any reason she might need a speech therapist?

@Nessa: Cute belly. Keep on growing

Jaylyn was having trouble sticking out her tongue at 4 months. The doctor wanted us to see a thearpist for this. It is better now. Once she started eatting the tongue problem lessened.

She had to get evaluated for her feet because she was standing on her tip toes at 4 months. Thinking that she has hyper tone in her legs. But they say she is just fine. We are going through the early interventions program here in IL for 0-3 year olds. It has only taken about 1 1/2 to get all the evaluations done. But I think we are going to discharge her if the speech is fine.

Ask your doctor for a number to reach him/her or the hospital.

I hadn't asked for the number to reach the doctor. So I called the hospital when I was very sick and asked for OBY unit and said I needed to talk to the doctor on call. I had the flu and a couple of infections at week 37 and had to rush to the hospital which was 45 minutes away. I didn't even know what door to enter but we figured it out.

Ladies I am sorry to hear your babies aren't sleeping. Once I switched from nursing to formula she would sleep long periods. Jaylyn has her first two teeth and they didn't seem to effect her sleep pattern. I guess I am very blessed. Jay usual has 7 ounces right before she goes to bed. I lay her on my shoulder and she passes out for the night around 10 or 11 p.m. and my husband says she wakes up around 9:30a.m. - 10:30a.m. She only takes two half hour naps during the day. She sleeps through anything. My husband could be playing his drum set and she will sleep. We are very noisy and it doesn't bother her. At the hospital when she was first born they told us don't be quit when she sleeps so she will sleep through anything. Was anybody else told this?

I guess I have a great sleeper. Since I think about 2 months old zaid has slept 8-10 hours a night. Now he goes down about 830pm and wakes up about 830am so he is sleeping a solid 12 hours. He too like Jalyn is not a napper. Maybe a few cat naps here and there. I love it because he puts himself to sleep. I dont think I have held zaid until he fell asleep since he was like 10 weeks old. He is not a snuggly type. he likes to be sprawled out in his own bed by himself.

mommy2be, she is precious.

What a great idea...that is why we adopted our cat many years ago...he was asleep in a noisy shelter. We figured if he could sleep through that he would be able to just chill. ;)

It's good that she sleeps well! Kavi has been on formula for a long time, had some breastmilk in the beginning but also formula at the same time. I think babies are just all different. My mom said when I was a baby I slept all night from 6 weeks onward, while my sister didn't sleep good for at least the first year. Then we switched roles after probably 4 years old. So it seems Mr Kavi is taking after his aunt! Suj said he didn't sleep good as a baby either. :crying::lol: We just have to wait until he becomes a better sleeper. I know if we have made it through 9 months of mostly interrupted nights, we can make it a few months more. But I just really pray and hope it gets better in a few months!

Yeah he'll be 9 months old tomorrow!!!

The twins are sleeping thru the night as well. Zain and Nour probably would sleep longer but we are night owls too. So they are getting to bed around 9:30/10pm and then my hubby says they wake around 9:30am...however, now w/ some teething going on they do wake a few nights around 3am or so but just want some comfort and then off to sleep again...thank god.

I can't wait to get a pic of Nour's two little bottom teeth...hehe
