I found out today we are having a BOY. We knew before, but today we went again to a 3rd place and my dr has said boy twice, and then a different one and now today...all without knowing what my dr predicted. So looks like we are having a Joshua Haress in June. He weighs about 8oz right now.

I wont get another ultrasound til 24-25wks because im leaving for NY on Sat and my dr in the states uses a hand held doppler to listen for hearttones, unlike my dr here who does a qucik scan at each appt.

June 11 05-Married George, civil ceremony in New York

May 30 08-Baby Joshua was born

Jan 15-Back to NY we go...

Jan 11-Divorce final

July 11-1st trip to take Josh to see George

Congrats on your little boy JessnGeorges! Another boy around here!

Well I had my appt today, my first internal. Not so bad. I am 1cm dilated, not very effaced though, but baby's head is low. Now sure how low though, she just said low! It was a very quick appt, I thought it was going to be more dragged out but I got called in as soon as I got there so that was nice. Now I will have the weekly appts. :)

I have tried sleeping with various pillows but the only one I am able to sleep with is a small throw pillow between my legs for hip support. I think b/c there isn't enough room in my bed for big pillows around me, lol.

Aww, don't worry yet! Let's see what happens at your next appt. If it makes you feel any better, I have heard that sometimes you can be at 1cm for weeks. So it's really unpredictable!

That was me... I was almost 41 weeks and my baby was still at -3 stage position (the highest)and I was still only 1 cm dilated...I was 1 cm at 33 weels as well (so at least for 8 weeks if not longer...), I found out when I had that bad scare I wrote about earlier in this thread...Not trying to scare you or anything, all you can do is be patient because they come when they are ready...although I feel for you because I still rememeber how you feel soooooo ready for the baby to come out at the stage you're at right now! Don't worry, you still might start dilating soon, you never know. Good luck! ;)
