congrats to the new mommy to be!!

Hope everyone little one soon gets better!! it's not fun having sick babies!! :(

Jax congratz to Jay getting new teeth!! Kaila still doesn't understand when she bites her fingers she has teeth their...

i have a question for you about Jay...does she have nasel congestion(with out being sick) that you need to use a cool mist humididfier? The ped. told me one time I was in there that because her nose is "flat" she will have a hard time with mucus...have you had this issue with her?? just wondering...Also how has things come with her and therapy? anything on that??

MOMMY2BE??? where are you at?? how is everything going?

Hey Shauna, Yes she has had nasal congestion forever. It started once she started at the babysitter. We use a warm mist humidifier. I have never heard that cause she has a flat nose. I will have to ask tomorrow. We have to go back for the doctor to look at her eye and her ear. I am wonderfing if she is allergic to animals or the babysitter just has too many. There is 4 dogs and 4 cats at the babysitters house which is a 2 bedroom town house. To me it is too many animals. My hubby found her if I would of known all the animals I would of not gone with her. Plus she did not have as many when we started but she just started going threw a divorce and moved in with her mom so the animals doubled. She has her first physical therapy evaluation on Friday. I won't be here so hopefully my hubby will remember things and tell me how it goes.

WOW!! all those animals...that does sound like a lot! It may be because of those animals. Kaila started her nose thing pretty much right after she was born. I was wondering if Jay had any issues like that. I hope all goes well on Friday...give hubby a recorder so you know he won't miss anything!

autumn. We have had zaid in an exersaucer since he was about 3 months old . We call it "the office" He studies all of the toys and it literally keeps him occupied for hours. We even bought one for the sitters house cuz we knew he loved it so much. I will tell you, we got ours gently used from once upon a child. Actually we got both of them there. And they were right around 12$. I just took the fabric pieces off and washed in the wash machine and scrubbed the rest down with diluted bleach water. if u have a "once upon a child" it may be worth it to look. Exersaucers are anywhere from like 59$ -100$ and im such a cheapo that I buy anything I can from that store.

I bought a cute take along swing after Kavi's surgery at a second hand store too. I love finding deals. :)

Kavi doesn't have a stationary exersaucer, but I am sure he would have loved it. What we do have is a jumper that friends are letting us use since their little one grew out of it, and he loves jumping in it. It doesn't have a lot of toys on it though, so the max he has stayed in it is about 30 mins. But he would jump for 20mins straight sometimes! lol Sadly has hasn't been in it for a couple weeks b/c of the surgery but soon he'll be able to go in it again I am sure. I wonder if he will still like it!

Kelly-we have the highchair with the same evenflo fabric pattern that's in your stroller.

Autumnchik -

our exersaucer was a GODSEND for several months. Amirah loved it from about 4 months until 8 or 9, even after crawling, but once she could pull up she wanted nothing to do with it. however for those few months I dont know how we would have lived without it. I highly recommend it. You can just drag it all over the house with you, I put her in it so I could shower, or cook, or have a phone conversation, or catch up on VJ, etc etc. I long for it still......

I hope it is ok to post this link in this thread. This is for all the moms and dads that have lost babies or had misscarriages.

http://www.october15th.com/

I had no idea a day like this existed until I saw it mentioned in someone's sig on another site and googled it. I think it's such a wonderful idea. I myself had a few misscarriages in my first marriage and remember what it was like to go through and how I still think about the babies I lost. Fortunately, I gave birth to a healthy baby girl 6 1/2 years ago after some trying.

Congrats to everyone who is expecting or recently had a baby! Hopefully I'll be joining you all soon. :)

I am having one of those wanting to scream moments. Kavi fought his nap so hard, even though he was rubbing his eyes and yawning. I myself am exhausted after the whole ordeal, lol. It was not fun. At times like this I don't think I can have another child anytime soon.

Hey guys,

We are thinking about getting a stationary entertainer (exersaucer) for Declan. Do you have one and what does your baby think of it?

We have the Fisher Price Rainforest Jumparoo and Drew LOVES it. I highly recommend it.
