the fat in the milk is not added, it's milk, it's natural and it's healthy. The child can drink that milk during his entire childhood. When I was a kid I don't even think there was more than 1 kind of milk at the supermarket. I started to drink lowfat to watch my weight.

I think the only reason people drink lowfat milk is because nowadays food comes with so many bad fat in it, that we don't need extra fat if we can avoid.

well i went to the docs today and i'm officially 5 weeks and 3 days along....i have an ultrasound in 3 weeks which my doc likes to do.....ok now how do i put a ticker on my profile?

Mommy2B - Definitely get a Halloween costume! It will be worth it for the cute pics.

Declan had his 4 month shots today and has been such a cranky butt all evening. Poor baby I am sick too (fever of 103) so hubby has been yelling at me every time I get out of bed to check on Declan and he has been comforting the boy. I snuck out of bed just now to post here!!! LOL

It has been confirmed: he is my tall skinny boy. His height was 26.5 inches which places him in the 92 percentile. His weight was only 14 pounds 10.2 ounces (although the doc said the scale was acting up and maybe he is closer to 15 pounds). Weight wise, he is in the 45 percentile. Doc is happy about the weight, he has gained nearly 8 pounds since birth.

We visited friends over the weekend. Their baby is 2 days younger than Declan. He is 25 inches and 16 pounds 11 ounces. They look so adorable when we put them next to each other because there is such a difference in their size. Declan grabbed Tyler's hand and they were holding hands (so cute!), but when I ran for the camera, Declan decided to eat Tyler which made Tyler mad so I only have a pic of Tyler screaming

Hi everyone,

I had a hard time finding this thread, I hadn't been on in a while.

Nessa that is so lovely about your ultrasound, I remember my first, althoughi t was very heartwarming, I also didn't cry and I thought I would but mostly I was just happy the baby was healthy and the heartbeat was strong. Also mine wasn't as clear.

About the Halloween costumes, I was thinking of getting one for my baby, she would probably only be a couple of weeks old and that's if she comes on time. Is it silly to get her a costume? My friends think its silly but I really just want to do it for the pictures. I saw a cute lady bug costume that would go with the ladybug theme in her nursery.

do the costume!!! my mom is making a pumpkin one for Kaila....even though she can't eat the candy...more for me
