Hi guys! Hope everyone is having a good weekend. We took Declan to his first fair today. He loved all the people (he is so enthralled by people's faces) and was just looking around, having a great time. I had a great time too and broke my healthy eating diet and had fried dough and onion rings and a bite of hubby's fried Milky Way. We would never eat like this except at a fair, and it was yummy!!!

@ Anna - Congrats on your baby! We need pics!!! I'm glad the hospital was so supportive :)

@ Vi - Congrats on your pregnancy!

@ Chnst - Girl, I can't believe how big Ben is!!! He is such a cutie. And I really like the name Carlton too :)

@ KS - Love the new pics ... Zaid looks so much older in them!

Posting for the first time on this thread. I am 10 weeks pregnant and 30 more to go (wow). The sickness is just killing me. Lately I have started craving for really hot and spicy food and lots of ginger (both things I couldn't stand before)..

I also just gave Daniel 'What to expect when you are expecting' after he asked me - So, you mean babies are not born with teeth?? in front of 3 couples with kids.

We both are excited now that it has sunk in and trying to work out ways so Daniel doesn't feel too left out because of his deployment...

@DanielParul: welcome to baby Corner! I'm sorry that your hubby can't be there for your pregnancy!

So, you mean babies are not born with teeth?? in front of 3 couples with kids.

:bonk: hahaha.... guys.... My hubby tried to throw some leftover bbq-ed food in the Blender, with "good intentions" of feeding it to Ben when he was 4 days old.

@autumnchik: thanks! mmhhh fried dough... I had like 100 of those at the 4th of July fair for the first time!

How's Declan? How's daycare working out for you guys?

Oh my, so many preggos here...Summer must have been too hot to be outside so people spent their days inside, huh? Congratulations all new preggos. Enjoy it, even if you feel sick right now.

@Parul: Ginger is supposed to relieve some morning sickness, that might be why your body is craving it. Before you start taking any stuff (I mean herbs etc.) ask your doctor. I took ginger pills in the beginning cause I was sick and it really helped.

Congrats to all the new moms to be!!

Shauna  Love it.

Carolyn: Congratulations.

And if she ever sleeps during the day I will be back on here but she is up all day long and rolling over all the time. When she flips over she is so suprised and whins. The rice cereal is going great. We are back down to 8 oz of formula. By the time we get to the doctor to see if we should start more food she will be 5 months old. I am so excited to my best friend from high school is having a boy this January so she will have a playmate her own age :). Oh one thing about the food the baby sitter said she is not eatting with her to busy looking at the kids. So that is why she could be eatting so much at night. All right got to run.

I love all the new pics.

I got that book a few years ago and I read it a couple of times and you are right, the info on line is a little confusing.

Is that normal that I don´t want to eat anything?? seriously I´m not hungry at all and here everybody is a little concern about that, specially mom.

Saludos

I trade you. you start pigging out like I am and I will not be hungry :P

now seriously, even if you're not hungry, just force yourself to eat healthy stuff. Have a little of everything, some carb, veggie, protein, maybe some milk.
