anxious, yea i know, it wouldnt be terrible if i were, but, i really want to be able to enjoy the first year or two of zaids life, with just zaid. I had to cancel my gyn visit for next week cuz i couldnt get off work, so i think ill take a test myself in the next few days..

i think you should take one today and let us know the results!! what does your hubby think about possibly having another one so soon?

everytime i ask him "what if im pregnant?" he just says...."soooo........" he doesnt think its a big deal at all. But then again, he is arab, and they have kids one right after the other...his mom was preggo for 12 years straight with 11 kids...i dunno, im kinda at the point where i dont wanna know, so i keep putting it off...plus, i have no idea when my period was suppose to come (the pill made my cycles nuts) so im waiting a few more days, i wanna make sure that when i take a test it is accurate...

I couldn't wait... I'd run for a test like yesterday!! It's nice to have kids close in age, like Eveline, but I want to go back to school and work and travel and all that and it's a lot easier with just one child. I'm extremely lucky that Ben just puts up with my shinnanigans (sp?). I took him shopping for 5 hours the other day! :star:

nanny-I am sorry you are going through a hard time now.

kelly-Let us know when you test, of course. When Kavi was 3 or 4 months old I bought a pregnancy test b/c my aunt flow seemed late. I wasn't pregnant and it started within a couple days, my cycle was just longer than usual. It has slowly been going back down in days to what it used to be. I know it's normal for periods to not be normal after pregnancy for awhile.

I just wanted to share something cute. Kavi does this lip thing when he's scared or something is hurting him(teething, bumped on a toy, etc). It's so precious but it breaks my heart! He sticks out his bottom lip and looks so adorable but I know when he does that it means he really needs mom or dad. He rarely does it so when he does we know something is wrong. I don't want him to be scared or in pain ever, but I can't help loving that lip when it happens.

as anybody here heard of Bag Balm??

I was lurking around and saw this. I have heard of it and we actually have a jar in our bathroom we use all the time. Great stuff but it stains and has a strong smell. You can use it for all sorts of things.

Michael does something similar; if he bumps his head or otherwise hurts himself he'll get this distressed look on his face for about a second or two, then it's time to cover your ears. :)

Never heard of it Marilyn.

Yardiewife-Of course you are welcome to post and lurk! I always read here and sometimes posted before I was pregnant, way before I was pregnant!

Aww, hehe. Kavi doesn't get very loud yet, but I am sure his volume will increase with age. He whimpers when his lip goes out.
