so...after getting of the pill because it was bothering my ulcer meds, i have not had a period for 6 weeks...hmm....

Ill keep ya'll updated, but needless to say, im really hoping its a false alarm, zaid is only 3.5 months

I have a problem.. I am out of BC and right now we don't have health insurance..

I am not sure how to go about getting a prescription for BC...

hubby mentioned going to a free clinic but I have no idea how that works...

I don't know a lot about that but I'd think going to the gov't health clinic would be cheap.

yes, i know here in chicago the county courthouses have a clinic that will give exams and pills for free

i was going to say planned parenthood as well because i know around here they go off of a lsiding scale for income. i went to one once and i think i paid like 20 bucks a month for a pack and then they had other options as well. I would call around and see what you can find out!

what I am trying to do now is transfer my prescription I had to the Walmart pharmacy... I wasn't sure if I could do that because I was getting my BC through Medco by Mail... doesn't hurt to try though does it....

Concerning sterilizers and Avent pacifier: we bought the Avent sterilizer, it's btw BPA free and much cheaper than the other ones... The pacifier should be BPA free since it's silicone. They usually only put BPA in plastics...

What did you guys do about a really bad stomach pain? They first thought it was heartburn, so I got NExium, Mylanta and Tums. It doesn't help. I tried Tylenol, it won't help either... I really wonder what it is... Tomorrow I have another appointment, at this point I'm pretty sleep and food deprived... Last week I was 80% effaced and 2cm dilated, I hope that got more cause I can't bear the constant stomach pain anymore...

Anna, I am sorry about the stomach pain. I wonder if it could be something like an ulcer, or maybe just really bad heartburn since you are near the end. I hope they help you figure it out to get some relief! Best wishes for your upcoming birth, it could be any day!

Kavi has been getting more fun every day it seems. I was talking to my mom about babies and about how overwhelmed I felt at first, going from taking care of yourself to taking care of another life who isn't able to do anything for them self for a long time. I think people know what I mean, I don't know if I just got overwhelmed more than others. I think it was a little of the baby blues, b/c after 3 weeks I felt a lot less overwhelmed. Maybe I had gotten more sleep by then too haha.

And while it doesn't really get easier, you get used to the work involved with a baby and so then it seems to get more fun every day and easier(but those without babies yet, don't be fooled, it's not easy haha but it's well worth it). Every new thing he does is so exciting for us. He's about to crawl, he can scoot around a little in his own way by rolling around and using his sides, but I think he's going to really crawl soon and that's exciting, also a little scary hehe. Baby proofing is hard!

@ks: uh-oh.... keep us posted. I don't know how I could handle 2 babies... but then people are doing it all the time, and you wanted another one really soon anyway, right? thanks again for the compliments on my baby!

@Parivar: I know what u mean- I still can't believe I'm someones Mother and I get overwhelmed sometimes and don't know what the heck I'm doing. yay for Kavi starting to crawl!

@Anna: if it's burning like acid it might be an ulcer or just very severe heartburn.

Talk to your doctor and see if he can prescribe Prevacid.It works better than Nexium for some people.

Also- watch what you're eating and if there's certain food that upset your stomach like dairy etc.

Peanut M&M's and Orange Juice used to give me wicked heartburn.

hope you feel better. the good news is- pregnancy usually leads to delivery and you're headed in the right direction! I'm sure your baby will be here soon. Any names picked out yet????
