Kelly, your video is just too cute! Zaid sometimes sounds just like a little lamb! Are you able to share your videos with Sofyan's family in Jordan?

Oh, I would love to get a video camera!

I'm not too pleased with my digital camera (I think it's a Toshiba)--it doesn't have very good resolution. I know that cameras have improved a ton since I got it.

What model is your HP? I can tell that it has good video quality, but do pictures turn out good if you print them?

My hubby has an upcoming birthday...

We would like another baby but we aren't sure when yet. I am not sure I am ready for another just yet. We've mostly said we'd wait until Kavi is around 2 years old before we try again. Plans could change, that's just what we think for now. If I happened to get pregnant before that, we'd be happy. But for a couple reasons we want to wait. I am only a year and 9 months older than my sister, so my mom got pregnant with her when I was a year old. And to me right now, that just seems overwhelming to be pregnant and tired while having a 1 year old.

I did enjoy being pregnant and had a pretty easy pregnancy before my long labor. I miss pregnancy in some ways! I loved feeling Kavi kick and stuff. My pregnancy went better than I thought it would. So being pregnant doesn't really worry me, but the first month after the baby is born was kinda hard.

I agree things are more predictable as they get older. But Kavi is only sometimes sleeping through the night still. Sometimes he'll sleep from 10pm til 5, sometimes til 3, sometimes til 7...it varies every day.

I keep forgetting to write that his 6 month check up is today.

Despite the aches and pains and trouble sleeping, I enjoyed the last half of my pregnancy very much. I miss it A LOT sometimes! We may start trying again for Drew's brother or sister next Fall...

Baby Boy has his 4 month check-up on Wednesday. I'm dreading it immensely :(

Back from the appt. It went ok, I mean Kavi cried right when the shots were given but stopped within 30 secs as soon as I picked him up and was tired for a nap so he fell asleep in the car on the way home. He's napping nicely in his crib right now. He weighs 16lbs 15oz, so about 17 lbs. He gained 3lbs in 2 months. His length is 27.5 inches. They said his weight is average and his length is above avg. So he's a tall one! Everything checked out fine.

Hi everyone! We are back and I am enjoying my a.c. We survived Jamaica with no ac for a week that was enough for me. I forgot our camara charger so we had to get a disposal camara. Then my husband forgot our digital camra so now we have to wait for his cousin to fed ex it back to us. As they say in Jamaica soon come. My husband sis will be her this week so we have a busy week ahead. Then I will be starting work soon :crying: .

JP and Eveline any day now. Wow how time flies. Eveline maybe you will have your little one on my birthday. All the best it looks like one more week if that. Can't wait to see pics for you guys.

Parivar it sounds like Kavi is doing well. I love the car ride home after the shots. That is when the little one falls asleep. We usually go out for lunch and dinner at that time when she sleeps.

My C-section was not bad at all cause it was planned. I can't imagine going through labor and then having a C-section. I went in at 8am and she was out with in an hour. The pregnancy was bad.

When will be having another? Hmm right now I don't want another one any time soon. I would be happy with just her. Hubby wants 3 more ugh. I don't think so especially cause I have to have C-sections. If we were better finacialy maybe 2 to 3 years. I told hubby when he graduates in 3 1/2 years then we will decided when we have 2 good jobs. I am thinking 4 more years until we have our next and then I am done. I will be to old for anymore after that.

Oh I agree that the first month is the hardest. No sleep at all. Jay has only slept more than 7 hours twice. It is usually only 4 hours at a time at night. She is usually up by 7am or 8am and ready to play. I am wondering how tired I will be when I return to work and hubby goes back to school.

Everyone have a great rest of their week!

KS - Zaid is ADORABLE in that video :)

Stina - Glad the shots went well :)

I know what some of you mean about the babies not sleeping through the night. I start work next week and am so worried I will be exhausted and unable to concentrate. Declan sleeps 3-4 hours max right now. He slept 5 hours in the hospital and we were so excited about that, but then we realized it was just the morphine

WOOOW I guess I am quite spoiled..Zaid has slept thru the nite since he was a day old..By that i mean he sleeps about 7 hours wakes up to eat and goes immediately back down for another 3-4 hours..sleep has never been a problem, actually (knockin on wood) there has yet to be a night where he didnt want to sleep, he also doesnt cry in the night either..

I guess, to be honest, his colic got him on that schedule..he would cry non stop all the day that by the time 7pm rolled aorund he had completely exhausted himself..
