I have been looking at cribs online. There are way too many choices. To complicate matters, we are really going to need two. Yikes! Do any of you have the convertible cribs? Do they work well converting to the daybeds and twin/full-size beds?

Hi everyone,

I have a question, has anyone used a doula? If so, would you recommend it? Please share your experiences. I am considering using one and will attend a meet and greet with doulas recommended by my hospital. Not quite sure what to ask them though.

Thanks!

I have a Doula with this pregnancy and I absolutely love her. Although it's my second pregnancy I'm glad to have her for advise. She wrote a birth plan with me and is going to speed up here to meet me when I'm in labor (if I should start to labor). Also, she'll be there for post partum care and breastfeeding help. All in all, she'll cost us around 300 Dollars but it's worth every penny (in my opinion).

Hey Eveline, that sounds great. $300 is not bad, I live in NYC and the least expensive doulas offered by the doula center recommended by my hospital cost $500 (and they are novice)....

YES!

We are so happy we are gonna have a little AmeriDutchFloridian if it is Gods will.

congratz!!! :star:

Hey mommy2b.....how are you doing???

Eveline...how are you feeling these days???

Hi Nanny, I'm doing well, thanks for asking... feel like time is flying lately, can't believe I am already 26 weeks!

@Nannygirl: I'm doing pretty good. I've spend the entire morning in the pool with Adam and now he's been asleep for almost two hours. Sleep is rather rare, since I can't really find a comfy position no more but I can squeeze in one or two naps a day so that's good too.

We finally took the hospital tour yesterday. I like everything except that they put your feet in stirrups for the pushing part but I guess I can just do whatever feels best in the end. We'll see.
