Ooohh I'm sorry Chrissy. I saw your post. I'm really hoping for you that you are pregnant again. Even though we did try for no2 I didn't test until weeks later. I knew I ovulated but I didn't think I actually would get pregnant again (for whatever reason) and ERic yelled at me one day why in the world I was soo bitchy. He got me thinking there and I tested the day after. I think I must have been only two or three weeks along. All the best and definetely let us know when you test or at least the results...I'm all excited for you.

Thanks Eveline, i hope i am pregnant, at first i was kinda freaked out at the idea....now i just can't wait to test, hubby and i feel ready for another baby....i'll keep you posted

Eveline, what are you talking about "70 degrees cold" ??! After a swift dip into the 70ies last weekend, we're back in the 50ies and rain... I think our summer is already over. :( and I can't even blame Ben for not wanting to come out into this nasty weather.

KS: good luck. I hope for you that the membrane sweep helps to get your contractions stronger.

Chnst: Maybe the walking will help you into labor too. It didn't do anything for me, except for terrible back pain.

I breastfeed before he goes to bed and during all night as he sleeps with us and has an access to his boobie and early in the morning.. So what should I do first? What to be taken away first?

I started taking away the "easier" sessions (where my husband could distract him or I could in a way or another), leaving the one he loved the most for last. For us it was his afternoon nap also the most difficult because he is at home alone with me and no one else could distract him from me.

Hi Ladies,

Good luck to those waiting for delivery

:ot: Have any of you ever had to switch doctors because you didn't like your current one? And if so at what point do they not let you switch? Right now, I have seen my doctor a few times and I am not happy with her. I tried giving her a chance but each visit I feel like she is not right for me. For one, I always feel rushed when I see her, she never asks me if I have any questions and when I do have questions she never gives me a full answer. I feel as if I'm bothering her when I ask questions. She is not very warm or comforting and this is my first baby so I was really hoping to get a nice doctor. On the positive side, she does do her job well I guess. My only worry is if i switch doctors at this point, the next doctor I get could be worse or the same.

Any advice?

when i moved from DE i had to switch dr.s...you can switch whenever you want....i would first call another dr just to see if they are excepting new patients and tell them you are switching and if you could meet with the dr first to make sure and go from there...

With my first baby I had a doctor I didnt like and I never switched to a new one, in hind sight I wish I had because with my second I loved my doctor and it made a big difference in the whole experience. SO I say go for it and find someone better to help you through this huge life event.

on another note, I've heard through the grapevine that Kelly (ks71905) went to the hospital in the middle of the night so I think its baby day for her! YAY!

Thanks for the reply. I'm definitely looking at other doctors now. I just hope I don't go from bad to worse.

I hope you find a dr you like. :)

Do you know any people who had babies recently and can ask if they liked theirs? I found my certified nurse midwife/OB Dr's office by a friend's referral who really liked them.

OK, nothing really happening for me yet.... :(

I'm thinned out but not dilating yet, the exam hurt a lot today and I started to bleed afterwards. sorry, I hope I didn't gross u out! There's another ultrasound on thursday. My doctor is nervous because he thinks the baby is an XL size....

He wants me to come in twice a week now.

KS, I'm rooting for u!

mommy2b: definitely look for another doctor if you're not comfortable with her. The new doctor will probably get all your records from her so u don't have to deal with that.

good luck.

I actually just found a doctor that comes recommended by a friend and has received good reviews online on ratemds.com and her office is about one block away from my job so it would be extremely convenient but I could not get an appt. until June 30th! I'll be around 24 weeks by then. I took the appointment but I was told that there was another doctor at that same office who is available May 13th. I never heard of this person and could find no reviews on them. The practice overall seems to get good reviews. Should I wait til June 30th or change my appt. to see this other doctor I don't know much about?

uughh.. I wish this process wasn't so complicated.
