Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

Meanwhile, anyone have anything to say about Mimi's bump? Vet's closed today and I'm still worried!

Probably just a minor bleed under the skin of the injection site. I'd only worry if it a.) gets any bigger or b.) doesn't go after a week or so.

This is the first pic of Snowball . He's very timid around humans, so he is going to take a little time to get adjusted. He has made some progress already; rather than running and hiding every time you walk into the room he is in, he actually waits a few minutes and then runs and hides. I did sit with him last night for half an hour making a fuss of him and generally trying to reassure him that he isn't going to be harmed.

I think he must have been abused by a human at some point as whenever you go to make a fuss of him he flinches. Poor little love. We'll get there though eventually; he's just going to need some extra love and care. One good thing is that he is eating and drinking really well so that's something we don't need to worry about with him.

When I was visiting my family, I went over to see a friend and we had to go take out her neighbor's dog while her neighbor was having a "sleep-over" with her boyfriend (neighbor's words, not mine). The lady had like eight cats, and the entire garage smelled like cat pee. The house was okay, but then my friend said the inside used the smell like that before she met her boyfriend. :blink: Then the cat escaped into the garage and hid under the car and I had to use my charm to get him to come to me so I could grab his little grey self.

I love cats! Just don't let your house smell like this lady's garage :D

My mom has the most evil, weird cat ever. She drinks out of the dog's water bottles, then when she goes to her water dish she sticks her entire paw in the dish and licks her paw to get water. If I pick her up to move her when she is being bad or in the way, she howls like you are abusing her. Then she comes to you wanting attention, but when you give it to her, she bites you. Hard. She sneak attacks the dogs, who leave her alone.

As long as my future cats aren't like that, I'll still love cats. :D

PS: TWO cats in 7 DAYS? Mags you are crazy.

I love cats! Just don't let your house smell like this lady's garage :D

I'm really aware of smells (over sensitive nose!) and if I smell anything that even fractionally smells of cat pee or poo I'm on a mission to find it. Luckily all the cats are really well trained and use their litter boxes only. But if I suspect anything I can't rest until it is sorted out.

Scented candles anyone?

That's how Mimi was...she's gotten loads better, but she's still skittish with sudden moves. Especially around my dad! She'll go to the door and meow to him, but when he comes outside to say hey, she runs away. :lol: But she always purrs hardcore when he pets her. She flinches and stiffens when he first raises his hand (I'll hold her) but after he actually starts petting her, she relaxes and just enjoys it.

Oh. btw...I called the vet, they said the bump should dissipate within the month. Apparently, it's 'normal'
