I just got a kitty! She came home with me last night from a shelter. She is such a diva. I just don't know what to name her. I need help.

Oh God, don't remind me! It was this time last year I was on crutches due to a dislocated hip standing in the backhoe bucket holding a 10 ft pool skimmer net, tryin to get her out of that tree! And my dad accidentally dropped the bucket like 5-10 ft with me inside it!

That was so funny....Mimi was scared of my dad and he finally grabbed a ladder & said 'you're comin down'

I think even I have to draw the line at 7. Luckily I don't mind scooping da poop, I'm not squeamish or overly sensitive to da poop. I'd rather scoop cat poop than a child's any day. Cats are WAY better than children full stop. There were way too many "cat poops" in this post.

5 cats... I take it (rather I hope) that the litter boxes are outside. I have enough problems with 2.

See above. We have 3 litter boxes and a decent sized laundry room; we also have another downstairs room that has no function at the moment (that's next to the laundry room) other than a junk room. I did suggest that we stick a cat flap in it and that could be the cats' play room. Stick carpet covered shelves in there, lots of toys and....the litter boxes too.

They scanned her, she's MINE! Woot.

I got her her shots, and she got tested for all the bad stuff.....that was nerve racking as well!!! But she's fine.

She's getting fixed & chiped Jan 2. And a teeth cleaning too.

BUT SHE'S ALL MINE! And she was so well behaved at the docs! And now she's more lovable than ever...I think it's a trust thing or summat.

Mags, sorry for the derail, but I've really been so happy about this that I had to share the news. She's officially mine! I even just bought her her first Christmas stocking!

No problem, Lisa. I was similar with Sassy; I adored her and was really scared that she might be someone else's even though she was in sh!t condition when she turned up on our doorstep. Glad it is all sorted out.

I think I remember that....that the one from your neighbors? I think someone hit or kicked Mimi when she was young cos she's still a bit shell shocked (shell shot? i dunno) and jumps if ppl move suddenly or if my dad moves his hands.

I woke up to a severe lightning storm, so I went to get Mimi off the porch....now she's downstairs cuddled in her iccle bed all safe from the storm. It's a BAD storm right now
