Mags would like another cat...

. There was a gorgeous grey long haired cat (around 5 years old) whose owner just died. Of course I wanted ALL of the cats (obsessed..who me?) but she stood out.

This is Chip:

He is around 5 years old, weighs about 110lbs () and was the shelter's longest resident (that's half the reason we picked him). He is very affectionate and rather sweet. There were quite a few we loved but the deal was sealed for Chip when they said he had been with them quite a while. The shelter workers were all sad to see him go but really happy too. He's currently chilling out in the lounge (away from the other cats for now).

He is smoky grey with white feet and chest.

No, the grey girl was at the Petsmart about an hour west of us. Chip is from our local shelter (which is no-kill, luckily) instead.

He probably weighs about 16-18 pounds in all honesty. I picked him up a while ago and I nearly put my back out.
