I think I might be having a sick day today - I'm not sick, but all my clients are w/ some terrible funkiness that I certainly don't want or need. They're all canceling! Kinda sucks, but I'll make the best of it. Maybe today is house cleaning day instead and then I'll make some holiday treats.

back finally. we had no power from 0700 tue morning until about noon today. got a generator yesterday and had heat finally. the trees are coated in ice, many have lost their tops and other branches. i'm not looking forward to cleanup around here.

I am really pissy today. I am mad at my boss, my work, my life.....I need to chill. Maybe I better take a whole pill instead of 1/2 a pill. I am so angry at my work, I feel like looking for a different job.

How many times do I have to tell u guys/gals...SEND THE COLD STUFF DOWN SOUTH!!! I'll be happy to take it on. Just 1 flake is all I ask!!! It was drizzling yesterday and was actually below 70 degrees so it was almost like Fall! Woke up this morning to 60 degree weather and its supposed to be in the 50's later on so I'm starting to get a bit excited. I just hope the weather up north eases up just enough that we can get in to Missouri without problems. Then it can snow again. It will have to ease up again around the 26th so we can head out again...time will tell.

My parents finally have off and on electricity. Luckily it has been enough to keep the house heated somewhat. Their tropical fish didn't die so that is good. I am happy that they are ok.

I'm off Friday, Saturday, and Sunday!!! woot wooooooooot!!! possibly Monday too.... I think I'm gonna buy cookie dough and make some good holiday cookies for the upcoming Eid!!!! I'm also thinking of making spaghetti tonight just for me since my boys hate it. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm spaghetti....... I probably won't do it but thinking of it makes me happy

today i have to take my kitty to the vet because he's been half coughing/half heaving? i don't know but he sticks his tongue out and like...weazes! he also is STARVING all the time like he never eats. if you even go near the kitchen he meows like crazy and begs for food. i hope its not his thyroid.

Hello everyone...more snow here....I took 1/2 off my day off to finish my Christmas shopping...phew.....also confirmed w/NVC that my case was received there yesterday......getting closer to Cairo bound....yikes!!!

yes he eats all his food and treats and wants moooooooore! if we leave the bread out, he'll rip it open and steal some. he's just STARVING! so we just got back from the vet. they took a blood and urine sample and she is sure its his thyroid. and hopefully not also his kidneys. so now we will see just how bad it is and whether i decide to put him on medication or give him this other treatment that will rip my credit card a new hole! he is down from 12 lbs to 8.5!!! we used to always poke at him for being fat and now he's normal! *sigh*
