I called the NVC today......and finally got through. But it was worth the wait. I found out they received my packet on December 6th and mailed it to the Embassy in Egypt on the 7th. I am so excited. We are almost done with our Packet 3 info and forms so we are ready!!!!

Anyway, just wanted to share.

2/12/08- Interview in Rio- APPROVED!

2/15/08- Visa Received

2/18/08- US Entry

2/20/08- Wedding Day

AOS

3/04/08- AOS, EAD and AP mailed

4/07/08- RFE

4/11/08- AOS, EAD and AP re-mailed

4/18/08- NOA's received

5/06/08- Biometrics Appt

6/14/08- AP approved

6/17/08- EAD approved

11/07/08- Greencard Approved!

11/22/08- Greencard Received

Gabriel was born on January 12, 2010!

VSC sends NOA2 to NVC a lot quicker than CSC. Congratulations and best of luck the rest of the way!! :thumbs:

05/07/2007 : I-129F Sent

05/29/2007 : NOA1

09/28/2007 : NOA2 (144 days from filing date)

11/02/2007 : NVC Received Case (35 days from NOA2)

11/06/2007 : NVC Sent Case to HCM Consulate

11/16/2007 : HCMC Received Case

11/17/2007 : HCMC Sent Packet 3

11/20/2007 : HCMC Received Packet 3

12/10/2007 : HCMC Called Fiancee (Packet 4 Sent + Interview Date)

Officially Engaged December 24th, 2007!!!

Moved to the U.S. to be with my baby on July 19th, 2008 on a K1 visa!!!!

That is wonderful Cheryl. I was approved 11/29 through the California Service Center and still no news of NVC receiving my file. I'm happy for you that things are moving along. Best wishes!

Girl I didn't get a letter or anything. I just kept calling the NVC until I got through. WHen I did the automated it told me It had no record of receiving my case a few calls later I finally got an operator and she said yes they got it on the 6th and mailed it tot he Embassy on the 7th. You can tell when you are going to get an operatot.....you get a different recording. Instead of it sending you back to the main menu it tells you sorry for the wait all operators are still busy please hold along those lines. THen just keep holding and you will get a human. They are super nice. THey can use your USCIS Receipt number Fiancee name and date of birth to look it up. So if you haven't called them give it a shot. 603-334-0700.
