Hi everyone. Although our interview is still pretty far off, we've started gathering our papers and organizing them for the interview. I just wanted to run our list by everyone and see what you all think. Although the list is long, I still feel that we should have more... What do you think?

WHAT WE CURRENTLY HAVE:

* Copies of all forms already sent to USCIS

* New I-864 reflecting my new employment

* Copy of Wife's birth certificate: Translation + Original + Copy

* Copy of my (USC) birth certificate: Original + Copy

* Bank Statements including both of our names dating from July (After our wedding)

* Letter from our Health Insurance provider stating our joint coverage

* My Tax Returns from 2006, 2005, and 2004. ( I only made 125% of the poverty line in 2006.)

* Pay Stubs from work (Will continue to collect these up to the interview)

* Original stamped copy of marriage license

* A Thank you card from a colleague for a gift given at her wedding addressed to my wife and I

* Home telephone bills with both of our names on it (Dating back 4 months)

* Cellular phone bills showing a family plan with a phone line for both of us. Wife's name is listed

on a second phone line.

* Copy of our current "Blockbuster" internet movie rental account + at least 50 envelopes that DVDs were

sent to us in. These envelopes are addressed to the both of us.

PHOTOS:

* Photos of both Wife and I and her parents from 2004 when she first arrived in the USA as a student.

We also have pictures in there of us with both of our families at the same time.

* Photos of Wife and I with her brother in 2005.

* Photos of Wife and I with her brother and her brother's girlfriend in 2006.

* Photos of Wife and I during our trip to Florida in 2006. (When I proposed.)

* Photos of our wedding.

WHAT WE WILL HAVE:

* Photos of us since the wedding on various occasions.

* Originals + Copies of all "Congratulation" cards sent to us for the wedding.

* Copies of our credit cards showing that we both use the same account. These are just copies of the cards, not

the statements. (Her name isn't on my statements, she's just added as an

authorized user for the time being while she establishes credit. Do you think this is good?)

I changed jobs from when we initially filed, so I have a new I-864 ready in case the IO needs it. Do I need to fill out new Biographical information sheets reflecting this change as well?

Thanks for all of the advice as always!!

Joint lease/rental agreement in both names or a joint mortgage would be good to bring to the interview. Also, do you have any life insurances or retirement plans where you can put each others names in as in being the beneficiary?

That she is on your health insurance and that you have joint bank accounts and credit cards is a big plus.

I think you guys are all set. You have a ton of evidence, the interview should go smoothly!

Just a reminder though, whatever you bring, bring orginals so the IO can see, and then a set of copies in case she wants to keep it. Same thing with pictures, I brought a stack of pics in case she wanted them (those since arrival into US), and she kept them all.

Thank you all very much for the quick replies.

As for our rental/lease agreement: We still live at home with parents until at least May (when we graduate and begin looking into the housing market).

I definitely made copies of everything, and will certainly make even more before the interview :P

I'm mostly concerned about the lack of rental agreement. I know I should be contributing to a 401k/etc, but I have not yet begun to do so.
