I just spoke with one of the supervisors at Vermont Service Centers, stating that the I130 received after June, may take up to 18 months to be processed. This news was really discouraging. I asked is there a chance to have K3 approved faster he said: O sure, most definitely. Although I do not trust a word they say anymore. Another questions I asked : is it true that the files after July 30 are transferred at Chicago. He said “yes including the July 29th which they have couple of more hundreds THOUSANDS July’s they work on.â€

THIS IS TOTALLY OUTRAGEOUS!!!!!

Do you mean that Vermont will process your K-3 Before your I-130 gets in their system? I noticed you received your NOA1 for K-3 already?

It did not sound convincing at all when he said about the K3 visa. I had a feeling that he did not want to strike me any further with the bad news.

Yes I got my K-3 NOA1. But the k-3 NOA1 does not mean a thing without the I130 entered in the system. The real questions is when is it that they are going to pull my I130 out(any of them since I sent to as instructed by another immigration)

Ay! It's just a mess and I am totally tired of this...

Why do you say K-3 NOA1 doesn't mean a thing without I-130 Being in the system first? I thought the purpose of K-3 is to reunite your spouse so that she or he can wait together here in the States for the approval of I-130. I am just totally confused. If I-130 really takes up to 18 months to process, that is outrageous

Regarding K-3, I was told by the Vermont Immigration Officer few weeks ago, that the K-3 won't be approved unless the I-130 is in the process.

I am an August filer, so my I130 is not even in the system, so basically the I130 not being in the system yet, is probably holding back the K-3 .
