Did they check the box for the medical?

If they did then yes you should get it done or else they'll require it at the interview and you'll get a delay.

If you have NO RFE, then do not worry. Full medical from visa interview is needed to be less than a year before AOS filing.

when did you have the medical done in India? Its only valid for 1 yr. So if it has been longer than 1 yr, then you may need to do another one.

I believe the AOS interview letter states to bring the medical/vaccination if it wasn't sent in with the I-485. We sent in the I-693A with the AOS packet so we didnt bring anything to the interview.
