I was absolutely shocked to check my email this morning and find notification that our I129f had been approved! I only received the NOA1 in the mail on Monday. Vermont seems to be moving at warp speed lately!

Wow! Congratulations!!! I'm getting super anxious about my case now, everyone that sent their application around the same time as me or a bit earlier are getting NOA1 and NOA2 so fast! Can't wait for my turn!!!

Given that I had five different emails stating the approval in my inbox this morning, I was half afraid they were just having technical problems and that the whole thing was a mistake! : )

Good luck though; I know at least one other poster here flew through the approval process at Vermont.

Actually, now I'm a bit nervous-- I've just noticed that someone has started a topic over in the Green Card discussion area complaining about getting multiple emails (like I did) almost every day, sometimes with conflicting info. But a check on the status of the file says approved as well.

Hopefully the official letter will arrive in the mail soon, and I can stop being paranoid!

I am in the process to finalize everything and book the airline ticket one way to Miami baby

Fiance arriving on 08-22-06 From HAV,CUBA ....

Fiance arrive at Mia on 08/22/06 1230pm eastern

Mailed off AOS, EAD on 09/27/2006

*12.20.05 came to U.S.A!!!!

*12.28.05 applied for a Social Security

*01.05.06 received Social Security card =)

*02.11.06 married....

*03.03.06 package arrived at unit (Chicago,il 60699)

2005-Aug – Attorney mishandling our case, they told us will expedite our case

2006-02-16 to 2006-03-09 - With my fiancé in US for our new apartment move

2006-03-13 - NOA1

2006-03-25 - NOA2

2006-03-27 - NVC Received

2006-04-10 - Sent email to Embassy for Packet 3, Consular advice Packet 3 has sent on 10 April

2006-04-21 - Received Packet 3!

2006-04-24 - Sent DS230 Part 1 and Checklist back to Embassy

2006-04-28 – Self collected Packet 4 at Embassy and make appointment for medical

2006-04-29 - Medical check-up

2006-05-11 - Interview Day!!!! - APPROVED!!!

2006-05-15 - Submitted my resignation from work

2006-05-17 - Got a call from Embassy, my visa issuance ON HOLD due to new law IMBRA, they are not able to issue my VISA!!!

2006-05-19 - Pick up my passport without VISA. No information as to when my VISA will be ready...

2006-05-22 - Embassy inform that our case has sent back to NVC via FedEx

2006-06-24 - Last day of my job after serving 1 month notice. (Manage to extend my last work day to 6/24)

~~~ Still don't know what they need from us...

2006-06-25 - USC's finace fly to Malaysia...
