I don't really care about any candidates sexual proclivities, it's their personal business and I am not interested in what they may or may not do when the lights are out.

Or on, as the case may be. :P

Seriously, everyone keeps saying that she has done things, but her supporters should have lots of great things off the top of their heads. Isn't that how being an educated voter goes?

Yeah and if they like her so much they should be more than eager to share all her awesome accomplishments with the rest of us, right?

I mean, how do you become the smartest woman of her generation without actually doing anything?

Man is made by his belief. As he believes, so he is.

I am disappointed also. This is a valid question to ask. What has she done that rates all the excitement? The two leading dem candidates are junior senators. What gives them the experience to lead the country?

Talk about disingenuous, how many people can list any bills that their favoured candidate has sponsored and had passed? I have done a quick search and Hilary has sponsored and co sponsored hundreds of bills in the senate I have no idea how many of them are now part of legislature, but then I don't know that about any of the current candidates either. She gives countless speeches and serves on various committees. I can totally understand if someone doesn't like her politics, but to suggest that she doesn't have any and hasn't done anything since being elected a senator in 2001 is pretty stupid.

I don't think it's sexist, there's something about Hilary that riles a few folks, but beyond that her husband is Bill Clinton, I have no idea what it is really. I know Gary says she's a power hungry ######, but I don't see how he came to that conclusion, at least, I don't see how it's any more true in her case, than in countless other politicians.

As I said, I can understand not liking what she stands for, but not that she stands for nothing except being the first Female president, which is what I think I am reading here.

Search for anything Gary writes about Hillary, it's all very personal (sexist) character attacks.

At least that is executive experience. You still haven't answered the question. What is in her resume that qualifies her as a presidential candidate?

Oh, I get it. Anytime you criticize a woman your being sexist. I wasn't aware they changed the definition. Thanks for clearing that up for me.

Ah please do enlighten us. Where have I attacked her for being a woman? You just see what you want and assume what you want. I don't like Hillary because of her ideas for government. My attacks may be personal but none of them have been sexist. You seem to like her because she is a woman since you can't point to anything else that she has done. I have asked several times without reply.

Does it really matter what the reason they would support her is?

I remember back in the 2000 elections, I couldn't even count the number of people that said they would vote for bush because he was more personable and could talk on the same level with the average person. That's about the same level a reason as your example for Hilary.

There will always be people that cast their vote based on the stupidest reasons. The reasons can be nothing more than a general feeling about one canidate or another. I've even heard of people say they'd vote for who ever is more attractive.... the stupidity and invalid reasons never end. Many people never grow out of the junior high elections mentaility, and you probably aren't going to reach them by expressing your outrage here.

Well said. :thumbs::yes:

Co-sponsoring of bills is nothing to tout. That's a political ploy they use. If you look at some bills, 95% of the senate cosponsor them. This is how it works: the bill is about to pass...the speaker asks "who would like to cosponsor this bill?".......everyone raises their hand or hits the button.

I can tell you this, if I'm going to vote for someone for President and speak highly of them, I will know their history.
