Who sent the AOS out later?

Hey guys

I am just curious if somebody out here sent out their AOS a few days after the I94 expired??

I still have the tax returnes and the vaccination sheet thing to do,my I94 runs out of date December 22.

Would be nice if you could share with me if you sent it out a few days later so that I would feel more relieved.

Seem to be a bit panicky.

A lot of people. Even if it were an issue, overstay would be forgiven through marriage to a USC.

As a K-1, the most important deadline to meet is marriage within the 90 days. There may be a deadline to file for AOS following marriage though I have not seen it. If anything, most would want to apply for AOS to allow them to work and begin the clock for removal of conditions, followed by naturalization at the 3 year mark.

My husband arrived in July, his I94 expired in October and we just sent out the AOS package less than two weeks ago. We were stressed about his status and the delay in him getting EAD, but there was nothing we could do, we couldn't have sent it out sooner. He walks around with his passport and a copy of our marriage certificate as some sort of proof that he is here legally.

Not to worry, Dakota. I didn't apply for AOS until a month after my I-94 expired.

We are a month late, as his I-94 expired Nov. 12th and we filed today, Dec. 12th. Our fingers are crossed.

we applied a month after his expired as well.... so far so good! *crosses fingers!

We applied after our I-94 expired also. It took us a while to get the vaccination supplement and all the paper work, so as you can see from my timeline, we were slackers. As long as you get married within the 90days (for the k1), I dont believe there is a set time when you have to file for AOS.
