BTW, she is going back for a visit to China in the early part of 08 and I'm going to miss her sorely

let me guess.. u are paying for the ticket.. :whistle:

as soon as i got my GC i started working, it was OUR money and if i went to germany to visit my parents I PAID for the ticket.. i worked my butt off for that.. sometimes i worked from 4am to 3pm.. that is work.. not sitting at home watching tv all day and let hubs pay for everything.. :lol:

If I was so worried my now-husband only wanted his green card, I wouldn't have married him in the first place.

What happens if she decides she wants to work? Report her to authorities, divorce her, and cry FRAUUUD? :blink:

Actually, I'd be more concerned if my spouse refused to work. But that's just me.

I think the usual thing is to come on here asking for advice on how to 'deport' someone.

Green Card, now what? Now relax. Respect your wife as a human being and come to decisions together. Wanting to work isn't a sign of fraud any more than staying at home is a sign of wanting a sugar daddy.
