POlice clearance.

Hi Vj friends,

Id just like to make sure of something hope to get a reply as always.. :help:

I have my police clearance expired last month. my interview will be on the 4th of jan.

Do i need to get a new one? eversince im 14 yrs.old we never moved out to another place and never get to live from other country as well. in short i dont need to get any police clearance from other countries. can i still use my police clearance although it expired just last nov.? i got my NBI and its not yet expired though.

I still recommend you get one.. You don't want to risk an AR just for that..

IR-1 Visa for Wife

NVC Case Complete = January 2, 2008

Received Packet 4 here in the US (Interview Packet) = January 18, 2008

Case Left NVC Forwarded to USEM Manila = January 23, 2008

SLEC Medical = Jan 31 and Feb 1, 2008 (2 days)

USEM Manila Interview = February 20, 2008 @ 8:30am = DONE! (Status: 2 Months wait is over APPROVED)

CFO Guidance & Counseling = April 17, 2008

Visa in Hand = April 18, 2008 (Our Wedding Anniversary)

Arrival in the US and POE = April 23, 2008 JFK Intl. Airport New York City

Social Security Card = May 2, 2008

Green Card in Hand = August 18,2008

get a new police and nbi clearance. even the nbi is not yet expired, better to have a latest date than an older date of the clearances. good luck

is it ok to get new NBI clearance even if it is not expired yet?? my NBI will be expired on March 2008....

I-751 Removing of Conditions

03-03-2011 - I-751 Application sent with K2 dependent

03-08-2011 - checks were cashed

03-15-2011 - NOA received dated 03/04/2011

04-01-2011 - Biometrics Appointment

04-19-2011 - Card production was ordered

04-21-2011 - Approval Notice was sent

04-22-2011 - Approval notice received

04-23-2011 - 10 yrs Green card on hand

You dont need a Police Clearance for the interview since you have not gone outside the Philippines.Not even a local Police Clearance since it is not a requirement for the USEM interview. Your current unexpired NBI should suffice although getting a recent one is better. Goodluck and happy holidays.:)

August 20, 2010 - NOA1 received

October 4, 2010 - Biometrics

January 3, 2011 - Permanent 10 yr. Green Card Received.

It's a good thought to always provide USEM with fresh and new documents at the time of your interview.

2007-02-22 **I-130 Sent to VSC

2007-07-02 **I-130 APPROVED at USCIS- CSC

2007-10-10 **CASE COMPLETED at NVC

2007-11-15 **INTERVIEW DATE. APPROVED at USEM!!!

2007-12-02 **Arrival from MNL to JFK (NYC)

2007-12-10 **Visit to SSA

How long is the document valid for from the date of issue? I had my fiancee get all her paperwork in October. I dont expect her to have an interview until Feb or March thou based on the processing times at VSC

:thumbs: that was my understanding also. my wife only had current NBI for her interview.
