I have no idea what I'd do until I was in that situation. I think it all depends on whether we have kids and what kind of cheat he was (a fling, another whole relationship, what?). I think it would be pretty difficult to get past it but who am I to say? Lets just say I'd rather not ever find out.

Well, Sasha uses VJ as much as I do  , so it would be wise for me to simply say that it would ruin me as a person. and her life with me wouldnt be very happy because I'd always remember what she did. The lack of trust would finally tear us apart. At least I think. I would never stop loving her, but how would I make her comfortable with that kind of betrayal? Its just bad. And if there are no children involved, the best thing would be separation.

I think the only people who forgive cheaters are:

1) Cheaters themselves who feel most people cheat and it is natural

2) People with low self-esteem- fear of being alone, they did something for their partner to cheat, or they can't find someone better

3) Highly religious who would even forgive someone who murdered a family member

I don't fall into any of the above and would hope to have the resolve and self respect to kick the person to the curb.

I think that's a bit unfair, tbh.

I am religious, but not so much so that I could ever forgive someone who God forbid murdered someone I loved. I've never cheated on anyone, nor do I ever plan to...and I seriously don't have low self esteem :no: But I would definitely try to forgive D if he ever cheated on me.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Don't forget ... you're only allowed to have the cheater bounce one time on the sidewalk before they reach the curb ... otherwise you need to boot them again. :P

I don't know. With luck, I won't have to find out. I suspect it would depend on lots of life factors; it's easy to say 'I'd walk', but who knows?

probably could...

i have worked with a sh!tload of couples where one party cheated on the other...the relationship can be repaired if both parties have the desire..it takes time

I say what our VJ counselor says. :innocent:

But I was married before, he cheated and I filed for divorce.

It depends on many things, I don't have a yes or no answer.
