I just downloaded a bunch of this band because of this thread. I got a song called "De Musica Ligera" and um, Brazilian Band Capital Inicial obviously ripped them off. Sounds better in Spanish. :)

Hehehe... I know... I also have it in Portuguese by Os Paralamas... You should also get the MTV unplugged (called "plugged" by themselves)... it's great! Even Andrea Echeverry sings in it...

I also really enjoy Spanish rock music. I'm a fan of Cafe Tacuba as well.

I spent a semester in Urugay when I was in college and there rock music is quite popular - so I've heard a lot of Rio de la Plata music that I like.

I got Cosme's (Cafe Tacuba) weird autograph on a T-shirt... weird dude but cool music. Must have seen them like 4 times already.

As for Soda Stereo... I should be as lucky to see Gustavo Cerati and Co!!! They are usually morning music while on the way to work for me... specially the "En la ciudad de la furia" version with Andrea Echeverry... but I'll listen to them any time, any place.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.
