DS 2001, required to have an interview???

Hi all, can anyone please enlighten me I came across a topic asking about DS 2001, is this also required by the USE Manila? The DS 2001 form says if you don't submit it, you wont be given an interview date. By the way the IVR says our case is already complete, so this means we havent got an RFE so will this be like an assurance that the ds 2001 is not needed and they will give us a schedule??? Thanks

I believe the DS-230 replaced the DS-2001, someone please correct me if I'm wrong. But if the NVC already completed your case, then it means that everything was submitted correctly and there is nothing more to do.

This DS-2001 form was used by Stanadard NVC Processing consulates to allow the applicant to self-declare himself/herself to be documentarily qualified.

It is obsolete with Appointment NVC Processing, in which NVC documentarily qualifies you for interview after reviewing the original civil documents submitted. Internally, NVC may be completing a DS-2001 for you when completing the case.
