I was counting the nutritional value of a lasagna I want to cook, using the recipe analyzer on calorie counter website, and I won't even make an entire recipe, instead of using a 9 by 13 baking dish, I'll use a 9 x 9, I'll use low fat cheese, low fat butter, 95% lean ground beef, skim milk, everything I can I'll use low fat, and still, the entire recipe total 5898 calories, 322 g of fat, 10854mg of sodium

Then I was counting how many calories it would be if I used the fat version of everything, and that would be a total of at least 6500 cal

wow nessa! have you tried that spaghetti sauce that is sugar free? I think it has like 30 calories for a 1/2 cup serving so that is A LOT less that most of the other ones! we had lasagna at a friend's house about a year ago and she used that sauce because her husband is diabetic. it actually tasted pretty good. I think it was hunt's? I'm not 100% if that is the brand but I do know it's one of those sauces that is in a big can instead of a jar. it would be worth looking into to cut down some more calories on that lasagna.

I decided I would try something new with my south beach wrap today so I put it all together like a quesadilla and threw it on the panini press and it tasted pretty good!

well I would get the less sodium boar's head ham, but I guess i can get that honey water with half the calories oscar mayer. the lasagna noodles maybe I can buy one less caloric. now for the red sauce i'm very particular, i know which one i want and it'll add some good taste. maybe cut down on the cheese. i'll see what I can do.

somy favorite wrap is the turkey bacon one, I usually add 1 slice of that sharp low fat 30 cal cheddar and some red crushed pepper. it's very good.

ooooh I'll have to try to add crushed red pepper to mine next time. I also enjoy the turkey bacon one the most. I bought a hilshire farms wrap a few weeks ago it was ham & swiss with honey mustard and I really liked that one. I threw out the packets of honey mustard and put my fat free honey mustard on it instead. very yum

i never use the mayo (40 cal only there) and I don't like the jello, so I can easily add an extra slice of cheese and it'll still have less calories than it says on the box.
