I tried the tofu options once and they're just not for me. I wish I could enjoy them but it's just not the same!

eta: when I get chinese food I measure how much I'm going to eat with measuring cups and then tell Neil he has to eat the rest before I'm finished so I can't have anymore

my weakness with chinese food is the rice - I always have too much

although I do feel virtuous when I have chicken wonton soup

the rice or noodles is what always gets me too! that's why I measure some out and then tell hubby to quickly eat all of it before I want more

I'm doing good! Last night I had my chinese food fix and they messed up the order but they were super busy and I still got something I liked so I was like who cares. Then like 30 minutes after I got home they called me and said we think we messed up your order so I said yeah you did but I don't care. the guy then said it's ok we give you free meal next time. SCORE!

I do. I eat canned pink salmon

The reason I eat tuna/salmon so often is because it has like 27 grams of protein a can and I like to eat as much protein as I can daily so when I work out I can build lean muscles, and those protein shakes and protein bars have half or less than that usually and they're twice or more than that in calories, fat, etc.

PS: waits for hubtser to show up and offer me some protein using some lame excuse

moving on...I had a lean cuisine pizza for lunch today and I had to pick the green peppers off of it cos I hate green peppers! Overall it was good but not the same as a big greasy slice of pizza. I think I will have pizza as my reward meal for doing so good next week. I'm so excited because I didn't forget my orange today! YAAAAAAAAAYYYY!!!!!

It wasn't meant to be offensive btw, just curious. I do like tuna and salmon personally, but I know if I ate it daily I would get a bit bored so how do you jazz it up so that it doesn't become boring?

Maybe a lasagna, yummy. That'll be my reward meal of the week. Dunno why I'm rewarding myself, well, for going to the gym, yeah, that'll work

90% of the time I make my own pasta. it's really easy and doesn't take much time and tastes TONS better!
