If you find it hard to stay motivated in the gym, you could try our hiking group Steve...although I suspect you get home too late from LA to join in the 6.p.m. conditioning hikes on week nights. We have some cool conditioners at the weekend too. There are guys in the club who have lost more than 30lbs.

take a bellydancing class

I'm still going. Haven't been weighing myself so I don't get depressed and quit. Plus, since I cut down to 1800 calories/day, I've been so tired that I sleep a lot. I'm thinking I may need to go back up to 2000. 1800 is about half of what the calculator says is my basic functioning calorie requirement. I can see that....I haven't been very functional lately.

I just wish it would hurry the hell up and get warm so my wussy ####### can get out on my bike...

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

oh that sucks platy! sorry the 1800 is too low for you. maybe go to the dr and get a bmi test so you can accurately know how many calories you burn by doing nothing at all. that might help you figure out how much to eat better

nope there's some people in the class that are pretty overweight and they just wear loose tshirts and shorts. I just wear shorts and a tight cotton type tshirt. my friend thinks it's best to show off her abs so she can see herself working it so she wears a jog bra and these nike capri type pants. she's a true workout addict though

it's a lot of fun and once you get into it you forget that you suck at it. it burns quite a bit of calories too!

for those who work out and care about their protein intake and like slim-fast shake, I found out that the one called low carb diet, not only is better cuz it's lowcarb, but it has 20g of protein, when the one titled high protein has 15g of protein. weird eh?
