3-5 hours. No waiting area at Consulate. There is a waiting area across the street but lacks seating. Many vendors, taxis, etc asking for your business. There is an internet store, restaurants, shops around the corner and restuarants across the street. |

Does require such as Tdap, MMR, Flu shot, etc.
Working time 8am-11am and 1pm-4pm. Should come before to apply the documents (instruction letters, appointment confirmation, IOM card) and get the numerical order. Show the parking staff you numerical order they will tell you what time you should come. Super crowded! Cost around 1 million VND. |

As of February 2008, a current passport photo has to be attached to the photo copy of beneficary's passport. This in addition to the 4 for the interview.
Justice Record Check #2 Now Required With Immigrant / Fiancé(e) Visa Application (200,000VND, takes 15 days to issue with ID and +10 more days with passport)
Beginning November 1, 2012, all Immigrant Visa (IV) and Fiancé(e) applicants will now be required to present a Justice Record Check #2 (also known as Police Certificate #2) instead of Justice Record Check #1 as part of the immigrant visa application. Justice Record Check #2 will remain valid for one year for each visa applicant, 16 years or older.
