6 weeks. Chennai schedules the interview immediately upon receiving the case from the NVC. Then they mail out Packet 4. No Packet 3. |

Could not get through by phone to Mathai Thomas and V. Rajkumar. Easy to contact Sanjan John so scheduled the medical with him. At medical Dr. Sanjan John said the rules were he could NOT give any vaccinations to K1 applicants! But my guy came back next day and he gave him the injections. |

My guy came at 6:30 AM and he came out at 1:30 PM, so he had a 7-hour mostly waiting ordeal. They let people in at 7:45 AM and my guy was the last one to be interviewed. |

1. Come at 7:45 AM not earlier; when you come has nothing to do with when you are interviewed.
2. Get your Demand Draft for visa fees drawn on HSBC bank.
3. Don't depend on a translator other than Tamil; we were assured one would be available, but it wasn't.
