Our Mission

Making US immigration LESS STRESSFUL, LESS EXPENSIVE and MORE PREDICTABLE by creating a friendly and welcoming community of immigrants, backed up with a powerful set of Guides, Information, and crowd sourced tools.

Who We Are

We started this journey just like many of you, with our founder Steve sponsoring his fiance Elizabeth on a K-1 Fiance Visa. They met when he was living in Singapore and expected an easy transition to life in America -- not predicting that the next year would be spent in the black hole called "US Immigration". Steve quickly realized that there were millions of other people going through the same process and that information was spread out across the internet, with even government websites being short on details. In 2003 he founded VisaJourney with the goal to grow a large, friendly and supportive community of US immigrants that could help each other by crowd sourcing guides, lessons learned and other information from their individual immigration journeys. Today we continue this mission each day and have HELPED OVER A MILLION people immigrate to America.
