Very nice and processional staff.
After a few questions about me and my wife, the officer asked me a few straight- forward questions.

My interview was set at 8:30am on March 15th, 2024 (Friday).
I went in the Embassy around 8:10 and went through security. There are three different checkpoints before you can enter the interview area within the building. The security were helpful and kind.
Was told to go to window 5 first that said ''cashier'' to check in and receive my number. After that I sat and waited for about 15 mins for my number to be called.
There the person requested documents I had submitted but nothing related to my husband (no I864/tax returnspayslips/proof of domicile).
Documents they asked for: DS-260 confirmation page, birth certificate, marriage certificiate, photo, passport and police certificates. (ALL ORIGINALS).
I was asked to wait once again to be called for my interview and that took almost an hour. There were only 3 people in front of me and it seemed like only one window was available for immigrant visas while the oth... read complete review

The overall experience was very good.
I had my interview scheduled at 8.45am; my husband (US citizen and petitioner) and I (French citizen and beneficiary) arrived at the consulate at 8am. We waited in line outside for 5/10 minutes and then we went through a first security checkpoint where they checked our bags and passport (laptops are not allowed!). Then we were greeted by a lady that took my passport and made sure that my appointment was that day and printed some sticker to put on my passport; after that they let us in. Before entering the building you have to go through a metal detector and give your phone to a guard.
My husband was allowed to enter the building with me and he also was allowed to attend the interview. When we entered two hostesses lead us to a line for immigrant visas; we were the first ones so we didn’t wait long. We got called at a window where a kind lady asked for all my documents: birth certificate, identity pictures, marriage ... read complete review

My Interview Experience:
Everything went pretty smoothly.
Outside (in a tent on a rainy day):
Got through a quick security check where they asked about my stuff, especially electronic devices because no laptops were allowed inside. They did a check with a handheld metal detector. At a desk, handed over my passport, and they checked my name against the list.
Inside the embassy:
Went through another security check with a walk-in metal detector. They put my belongings (phone, earbuds, etc.) in a plastic bag, gave me a badge to pick them up later.
At the top of the stairs, a young lady checked my passport and DS-260 confirmation page. Got a ticket number and was told to line up at counters 7-10.
I lined up for maybe 20min. The lady at the counter 7 asked (in French ) for:
• DS-260 confirmation page
• Copy of the email from usvisa-info.com confirming my appointment
• Police... read complete review
