I think it should be hand carried also.. From all the new immigrants I have seen.. They all had their X-ray results with em.

Yes it shoul be hand carry........ do not put it in your laguage. bcoz in case that the people in ur POE ask ur X-RAY what u present to them bcoz ur laguage is not with u when u go to POE..

you can pack it in the luggage, Claudeth did. The civil surgeon we went to wanted to do another xray so we showed him the one from Manila and saved ourselves thirty five bucks

If I recall your planned POE is SFO. My wife's POE was SFO and she was not asked for her x-ray. I don't recall anyone being asked for the x-ray at SFO. my wife put her's in her check-in luggage. she put it where it was easily accessable in case it was asked for.

If there's one thing that is predictable about the immigration process, at all points, is that it is unpredictable. You are probably okay putting the x-ray in checked luggage, but why take a chance. I would hand-carry it.

I hand carried mine and I lost it at the NAIA before I boarded the plane. I only found out when I already boarded the next plane to my POE. I was so nervous that I wasn't able to sleep, from Narita (Japan) Airport to my POE which was Houston, Texas. Well, they didn't ask for my X-ray film, I didn't need it. Some say that you can just laminate it when you get here, hahaha.. I guess, you can just put it in your checked-in luggage. The result of your X-ray is already included in the sealed envelope which will be opened at your POE, so no need for them to look at your X-ray film...

No POE officer is qualified to read an x-ray. You can put it in your suitcase. The x-ray report is with the medical documents.

It is a big hassle to hand carry the x-ray and not necessary.
