Hi all,

I got my NOA2 approved on April 13th, but I havent recieved the NOA2 in snail mail yet.

Can I still call NVC and find out if they have my case with them or not.

How can I do that, do I give them my WAS0606... number from NOA1 reciept.

OR NOA2 notice has some other number

Please help

The NOA2 has the exact same case number as the NOA1. You can call the NVC and give them the number off the NOA1. It took 9 days from my NOA2 date from CSC until my case was received by the NVC, so most likely they have not received yours yet.

How long did it take for u to get the NOA2 in snail mail.

What are the contents of NOA2, does the NOA2 says exactly same as it says on the USCIS website

NVC has an automated system and if you have your receipt number (same as the one for NOA1) you can check the automated system and if they have it entered they will give you your case number.

NVC automated system does not have case# details for non -immigrant visa cases.

So, when you call NVC at 1-603-334-0700, be sure to talk to NVC operator. In the past, I have seen about two - three week for case transfer from USCIS - NVC.

May 11th - Received Green Card in mail

196 Days @ USCIS ( 178 for NOA2 + 18 case transfer at NVC)

50 Days @ NVC to complete the case

13 Days @ case transfer at embassy

Well.. .I'm freakin' concerned as well, because haven't received NOA 2 in snail mail yet... Would they tell me what is happening if I e-mailed them? :unsure:

--> May 24th, 2006 - Pack. 3 received and left (never received package 4, so the Embassy sent me its content by e-mail)

--> June 26th, 2006 - Medical in São Paulo (Dr. Celso Rodrigues Fava)

--> July 11th - Interview APPROVED!! :D
