I am not sure about lucky, we were approved in October.

As far as I can see.. You guys get your Interview date really early.. Like 2 months before the Interview..

I was seeing Feb K Interviews Last month..

In our case.. We can have a Case Complete from NVC on January and will get an Interview date next month..

I was under the same impression

I guess I do not see the logic in waiting 75 days after approval for an interview as being lucky since the K visas are suppose to be 3 to 6 months faster than a CR1.

However, I consider getting an immigrant visa a month quicker than our K3 as being very fortunate. You two have been blessed with a shorter than average wait time.

Been blessed? I think were just about the real correct timeline of a CR/IR case..

I think the blessing is for not getting an RFE.. If you say my case is fast, I didn't even use James Shortcut..

The bottom line is I like where am @ right now.. But I want to know my Interview date already so I can book my flight to the Philippines..

Thanks Roserick! I am too late now for the shortcut, but I hope others know about it, so they can speed up this slow process.

Roserick, the overall average for a CR1/IR1 in the last year is 350 days. As of January 10 the average is only 276 days. I am happy your timeline is better than most.

Tanjay, the shortcut is for CR1/AR1 visas only.

Timeline
Congrats to all of us. So I was thinking we all should stay at the same hotel. I enjoyed reading Beng's interview experance. and maybe after we are all approved we could go on a group trip to Pagsangjnjan falls together. Rent a jeepney hehehe What do you all think?

Tim Y.. May i add information of going to pagsanjan falls.. Our family went there last November 2007 its a great experienced but bring extra cash and be sure to clear all the necessary payment before going in a boat and maybe ask your tour guide or the resort personnel if youre still going to pay once you made your first stop in certain picnic grove ( you will see the first falls in this area ) because there are some people who will be asking you to pay extra for using thier cottage which the personnel in the resort that we rented they tell us that its free to used that place, It surprised us, because we know that its free to use so why they will asked us to pay, they should tell us before hand that we're going to pay certain amount once we go to this area so that it wont ruin the thrill and excitement you experiencing and also its not confusing who to believed in. Anyways to stop the argument my sister pay the time we spent there. To top it all its quite an adeventure!
