I heard from a friend that one of her co-passenger from bacolod was put on hold at the U.S. immigration because of x-ray and medical result..

I wonder why she was put on hold because of her x-ray and medical result, I thought if SLEC will released your x-ray and doesn't say anything or doesn't let you back to check you again it means that you are fine and nothing wrong with your medical. Am I right???

Anybody here who got the visa then travel to U.S. and was being deported because the U.S. Immigration found out that there is something wrong with your x-ray or medical result????very confusing...arggg

I wonder if she had the information with her. It doesn't seem like a visa would have been issued had there been a problem. SEMC gives the xray to the beneficiary after the medical and it should be taken to the U.S. in case there's a question.

Thats what I've been thinking if you have a problem with your medical you should know it after your medical was done and U.S. Embassy should not issue a visa for you since you failed with your medical its useless if they issued you visa and you didn't pass the medical.

Im thinking that its Not the Medical issue that got her deported, maybe she brought something that is prohibited or did something wrong. Or maybe she opened the sealed brown envelope. If your medical exam failed, the USEM will not issue you a Visa. As long as you have your Visa , you'll be fine and don't bring anything that is prohibited.

I not many have posted the x-ray even being taken at the POE. I'm thinking it's for some other reason. Don't worry, if you've passed the medical and issued a Visa, you shouldn't have any problem with that.

Something on the x-ray makes me think maybe something like tuberculosis. Dont' know why they would deport though. Would be safer to treat.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

The embassy won't issue a visa if someone has TB that is communicable. It has to be for some other reason.

It could be the TB, I remember this Filipina I met at the plane she was told to go with the immigration officer in the supervisor's office because they've seen her medical report and noticed that she did two x-rays. For 15 mins she was asked about her medical particularly about TB and they're all nice, told her to go see a dr. again because they say she might need to medicate (I was with her during the entire session with the immigration officers because she was nervous and told them she needs an interpreter). Also, they asked for her x-ray plate while I didn't have any trouble going thru immigration not even asked to see my x-ray.... I always believe that each case is unique so no need to worry...

Anyway, our POE was Detroit.
