didn't someone have an interview today or tomorrow?

:unsure:

our interview was the morning of the 6th and !!!!thank God!!!! we were approved!! he should be receiving the visa in about 2 weeks, god willing!!!!!! i really hope it only takes that long!!

My hubby was told two week for his visa, too. This was on December 30. 5 more days until the 2 week mark.

Yes, let's hope it only takes that long when they actually say it...

Summer 2003- We met (in the U.S.) and began dating.

Summer 2004- My SO moved back to Egypt; I spent a month there with him.

December 2004- SO called my parents and got permission to ask for my hand in marriage; They said yes, of course!

Christmas 2004- I traveled back to Egypt and accepted his proposal while we were on the sands by the Red Sea...

July 2005- Got married; I moved to Egypt

Nov. 2005- Began the immigration process!!!

July 2006- Hubby's immigrant "interview" at embassy in Cairo was no interview- told to file waiver for past visa overstay

Aug. 2006- Waiver sent from Cairo to Athens

April 2007- Waiver transferred from Athens to Rome

August 2007 - I moved back to U.S. from Egypt in anticipation of waiver approval (just had a feeling!!) and to continue my career because my 2 year work contract had expired in Cairo and my wondeful job was still here waiting.

Nov. 2007- Waiver approved... thank the good Lord!!!!

Dec. 2007- Interview- but not really an interview- just had to sign the updated DS230; Told to expect visa in 2 weeks.

Jan. 2008 - Visa in hand! It actually did arrive in 2 and a half weeks... Hubby back in our home 2 days later!!!

Feb. 2008- Green Card arrives

Today and everyday- Loving life back in our home, having a blast, enjoying every moment with family and friends, praying for all of you still waiting! Miracles DO happen!!!

There's some on the list I haven't seen on VJ in ages. It would be great if they'd come back just to let us know what's going on :yes:

Why?

They are suffering on AP and VJ doesn't solve the suffering - sometimes makes it worse as we see others progress.

I just talking from my own personal experience. There was hardly anyone going through Cairo at the time and I didn't have anything to compare things too. One gal got her fiances visa in 8 weeks then the other few of us waited for months. We would see new members join, but no one talk about what Cairo was doing with them. I would've just been nice to compare notes like everyone else here does now. :thumbs: The ones of us that were here were wondering what was going on because at that time no one knew.....we couldn't come here and ask questions because no one knew. We had to find answers out for ourselves. I know what AR hell is like....don't forget. ;):star:

K1 process

10/05/2006 filled :)

05/03/2007 interview -> AP -> hell -> AP -> 9 months of AP Hell - 2 home visits :(

01/26/2008 visa in hand with a typo :(

02/03/2008 2 weeks more of waiting.... Visa in hand...... :)

2/20/2008 on US soil :)

2/21/2008 marriage :)

AOS

03/12/2008 Sent AOS/Work/Travel

03/16/2008 shows delivered chicago

4/12/2008 check cashed :)

4/13/2008 NOA's for all 3

4/18/2008 bio letter

4/29/2008 bio appt.

5/06/2008 RFE 2007 tax return

5/07/2008 returned RFE overnight

5/08/2008 received-lees summit

5/12/08 case updated online/RFE received

5/27/08 checked the website for the third time today -says AP and EAD approval letter sent 5/24- it was not updated online till today - and no e-mail update either

5/27/08 emails sent in afternoon AP and EAD approvals

5/29/08 AP touch

5/29/08 email EAD card production ordered

6/02/08 AP in hand

6/03/08 email EAD card mailed

6/05/08 EAD card in hand :)

7/28/08 AOS letter received

9/02/08 AOS interview

9/10/08 card production ordered email :)

9/17/08 welcome letter email and snail mail arrive same day

9/19/08 Greencard in hand :)

i guess you could add me to the list...sadly we may be going through AP :( (i have not heard anything back yet from DOS or the embassy...but inshAllah not...goodness I would cry my eyes out)... every case must go through it for checks...but inshAllah it will be a speedy one :)

I think there is a mistake here can someone fix it?

Hopeful (Egypt, CR-1) Interviewed 12/30/08 Visa in Hand 01/17/08!!

The interview date cant be right.

I have requested that she update her timeline twice with no response. I put the date of her last interview. I *think* the first one was in '06 but until she tells us we won't know.
