Hello my VJ family :star:

I-129F and I-130 approved 11/21/07 and currently on the path of going to NVC then Jordan Embassy. If its at all possible, we really would like to do anything and everything we can to try to eliminate or avoid any additional delays.

So my question is this:

How early can my husband get his medical and police clearance completed (prior to getting packet 3)?

What info/ documents would he need in order to obtain this in Jordan?

Is there a number or site or email that I need in order to get this info?

If your spouse (beneficiary) had to go through Jordan.. please share what you know (i.e. where medical exam was completed).

Any info is appreciated... Thank you ahead of time :D .

Mahalo,

Gwen (F)

If Jordan is like the other embassy's then you can, theoretically, book the medical as soon as you have your new case number from the NVC. All the London embassy's medical practitioner needed was the NVC case number and the medical could be booked. The medical results should be valid for 1 year.

For the police certificate, you can apply for it as soon as you like. They are generally valid for 6 months (but validity can vary by country). For the UK it takes 40 days to apply for, so the sooner the better :)

We've got our interview date because I email the embassy but we are still waiting for packet 3 with the instructions. I found a list on the embassy website with places you can do the medical and what is needed to take with you. He's going to try to go next week and go ahead and get his medical out of the way. Here's the link I found, hope it helps you. http://www.usembassy-amman.org.jo/cons/vaccin.html I'll post after he does his medical and tell you if he had any problems.
