Country Wedding

Ok here goes my wedding story , It wasnt big but it sure was memorable

3 days before the wedding tony got sick like a dog high fever and the whole nine yards sinus and upper resporary infection had me worried like there is no tomorrow ,

so we ended up at the hospital he was put on antibiotics and was feeling ok,

even his mom and sis where sick and sadly couldnt make the 3 hour trip from jersey

the day before the wedding 30 Nov we drove to albany to pick up my kids from the train station was my sons first visit to the states he loved it specialy the mountains

the morning of the wedding we got up made breakfast then started to get ready ( you all know woman take 5 hours to get ready right ? lol ) we where all pretty wiered with butterflies in our stumach while getting ready , around 1 we left to take a ride to the J"P house , of corse we arrived almost an hour to early ,lol

so before goin to the location we drove and showed my son the surroundings where we were getting married at ( country side surounded by mountains and forrest ) was a very private and memorable location, finaly it was time to go to the J'Ps house ( beautyful in the mountains with forrest all around it ) she was a very nice lady performed the ceremony like a dream come true ,

we took some pics she gave us a box of chocolate and the poem she read to us while saying our vowels when it was time to leave ,

after the ceremony we went to the restaurant we had reservations at , ( a barnhouse rebuild into a huge fine steakhouse ) the setting was great strings with lil lights everywhere , the food was amazing was a dream come true , after dinner and tones of pics we went to bright night ( anyone like to see bright night click here http://www.brightnights.org/ ) took the full tour very memorable ,

when all was done we went home ( had to get up early the next morning to drive the kids back to the train station , oh yeah they where the ring barriers , my daughter handed Tony my ring my son gave me tonys ring at the ceremony ) yes we are FINALY HUSBAND AND WIFE yeahhhhhhhhhhhhh a dream came true

Awww. That sounds so lovely Lona. It's a shame it was at that time of year where everyone gets sick. Glad to hear that Tony recovered in time for the nuptials. Congratulations!!

Had to laugh when I read this. I can just picture the two of you saying A, E, I, O, U.... and sometimes WHY (Y).

yeah I would like to upload some pics but eh hmmm my brain isnt realy cooperating , forgot how to post pics here if anyone can help how to upload them ( not in profile ) I would love to share some pics

oh and yup we do have that much snow right now , but its mostly ice now

( lucky I aint in canada right now kids told me they had a snowstorm sunday when they got home they got hammerd with almost 30 cm snow overnight , I HATE SNOWWWWWWWW , THEY CAN KEEP IT IN CANADA LOL )

Very lovely day for you both. Can just visualize it and all the wonders you shared.

I drove home Monday from Toronto and took almost 2 hours to get from Cookstown to Gravenhurst. Yuk....can't wait to move to Chicago where I hope they don't get this much snow.
