Just needed to take a deep breath here.

I sent the papers to Nick overnight by Purolator on Friday afternoon.

As of now, I have no idea where my package is.

Purolator is blaming it on Canada Post.

Canada Post is blaming it on Purolator.

I was given my money back and the kind woman at the Canada Post put a super track on it, they are looking for it now.

It could be in the States, Purolator claims they have never received it from Canada Post.

Canada Post is showing that they got it.

sigh...

We haven't even started and this happens. Oh well, I was having such a good day too.

Our filing will only be delayed by a few days, but still. sigh.

Hope you guys are having a great day.

*hugs* Here's hoping that the package is found and that this is the only snag in your process.

Shite sister.... even if you still stink, this stinks even more. Please tell me the doc's are not LOST, but just in transit.

luvyah, the stinkob!tch.

The woman at Canada post has in her system that they were sent to Purolator and they are likely in the states but Purolator (for whatever reason) has not updated their system or some #######. She said unfortunately, after it leaves the states, she can't track them. By the Purolator website, they haven't received the documents.

She knows they are very private documents.

I don't think they are lost, I believe they are somewhere in transit but the not knowing where, blows.

At least they gave me my money back.

Thanks for being stinky, it makes me smile.

*hugs* Here's hoping that the package is found and that this is the only snag in your process.

Thanks honey, I needed that.

I can't offer much other than my own personal piece of advice: Never use purolator for critical documents. In my experience they are very unreliable.

Thanks Brad, too late now. (F)

I went through Canada Post and they go through Purolator. It wasn't really my choice.

Sorry to hear your documents are MIA - but - it's only just for the moment I am sure, they will turn up!

My experiences with purolator have been great. I used them for all my NVC documents - I would call them, they would pick them up the same day from my house and have them in New Hampshire early the next afternoon, for about 37.00 including tax.

Any news since we talked last night Laura ???

Me and her had a chat and the same thing happened to me twice, they delivered the papers 2-3 days late both times and I got a full refund from them.

Thing is, once I sent papers becasue I didn't want to go through the customs with them in my possession, and I was staying in the US for 1 week and they were supposed to arrive in the middle of that week so we could sign them together. Turned out they arrived the day I was b ack in Montreal  The lady apparently didn't count the days correctly, counting the day I shipped them as Day 1 instead of Day 0, and she forgot about the US holiday (which was supposed to arrived the day BEFORE the holiday but got even more screwed) Awwwww yeah Canada post sucks big time sometimes.... They told me the same, that they didn't know where it was. But it finally arrived.

Hope he gets it today!
