I will be sending in my petition tomorrow. Since I did not have personal checks I had my Dad write one out, is that going to matter?

It doesn't matter who the check comes from, so long as its for the correct amount and won't bounce!

Put your information in the Memo-Line on the check. (I-129f, Name of petitioner and even social # if you chose to.)

Is fine, just make a note on the Note line of the check "For ABC's K-1 Petition"
