NEW to VJ. Good Luck on the process! I just filled today. Hope the holiday will bring us luck. I prep the application myself, a little worry about the mistakes that I made that I didn't see... Also worry about the process time will be longer than average due to the flood of application back in July.

btw, I love VJ, this community is great!!

2006, Jan29, first day of the year of the dog. Officially meet for the first time, at middle school class reunion. (1st Trip)

2006, May20, has to go back to U.S. Realize I got pregnant a few days before I left China

2006, Sep06, five months pregnant. Throw up all five months, work all five months, earn the money, go back to China. (2nd Trip)

2006, Nov09, left China.. Tummy got really really big...

2007, Jan09, Happy 1st birthday to my little angle boy... cutest thing in the world (birthing him alone, with his daddy on the phone)

2007, Feb08, travel back to China with baby (3rd Trip)

2007, May31, wean baby off breast completely, and went back to U.S. to work (cried a lot. miss baby and his daddy)

2007, Oct 23, became a citizen, Nov15, pledge at the ceremony and got the certificate

2007, Dec11, finally file for K1...

2008, Jan09, Happy Birthday for my 1 year old angle!!

12/11/2007 : I-129F Sent

12/13/2007 : Sent letter request correction for a typo :( worrying...

12/17/2007 : NOA1

01/08/2007 : Touched...

We finally filed our petition last Thursday, December 6!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :dance:

Now the waiting begins!

Steve came to Bermuda for a long weekend. He also brought along our Engagement Photos that we had taken in November in Atlanta. It's so good to be together again, even if it's just for 4 days. He'll be coming back for a long week over New Year's :star:

Meeting up in Vegas to celebrate sounds good. Steve and I are planning to get married there anyway. I wonder whether other K1-couples have had get-togethers in the past once they completed the process. I think it would be fun sharing our happiness after these rough times.

My thoughts are going out to all of you going through this process. We'll make it through!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I sent in my petition on November 30, and got the NOA1 receipt on December 10th.... we filed in the Vermont office, and our interview consulate is Ciudad Juarez, Mexico.

I wish I could see my significant other. Unfortunately he lives in one of the countries where it is nearly impossible to get a visitors visa to the US and I have work and childern so have to be careful with my vacation time. Good luck and maybe we will see you all in Vegas

I m a december filer too.

i hope we all get the visas done soon...

27 May 06 - Sasha comes back for a 2nd glorious summer (spent 8 months apart)

01 Jan 07 - Jason travels to Moscow for 2 weeks with Sasha

27 May 07 - Jason again travels to Moscow for 2 weeks of perfection

14 July 07 - I-129F and all related documents sent to VSC

16 July 07 - I-129F delivered to VSC and signed for by P. Novak

20 July 07 - NOA1 issued / receipt number assigned

27 Sep 07 - Jason travels to Moscow to be with Sasha for 2 weeks

28 Nov 07 - NOA2 issued...TOUCHED!...then...APPROVED!!!

01 Dec 07 - NVC receives/assigns case #

04 Dec 07 - NVC sends case to U.S. Embassy Moscow

26 Dec 07 - Jason visits Sasha in Russia for the 4th and final time of 2007 :)

22 Feb 08 - Moscow Interview! (APPROVED!!!)..Yay!

24 Mar 08 - Sasha and Jason reunite in the U.S. :)

31 May 08 - Married

29 Dec 08- Alexander is born

11 Jan 10 - AOS / AP / EAD package sent

19 Jan 10 - AOS NOA1 / AP NOA1 / EAD NOA1

08 Feb 10 - AOS case transferred to CSC

16 Mar 10 - AP received

16 Mar 10 - AOS approved

19 Mar 10 - EAD received

22 Mar 10 - GC received

Hoping you guys will get some good news very soon as well. Was so overjoyed when Steve told me about the check yesterday, even though I know this is just the start of the entire process. Not sure how I will react once we get NOA2 in a few months (hopefully). Might have nervous breakdown from all the happiness.

Congratulations!!!

Call your bank and ask to see the back of your check.

There should be the receipt number starting with WAC-, this is NOA1 (I think...).

If you have online banking, you can do this online, but usually the image is not that clear.

You can use that number to check your status online on USCIS website.

11/04/10 I-751 submitted to VSC by express mail.

11/05/10 VSC received the package.

11/08/10 NOA1 date

11/12/10 Check cashed, NOA1 hardcopy received.

12/31/10 Bio letter received. Finally!! Sechduled for 1/25/11.

01/12/11 Early Bio

03/29/11 ROC approved.

Yeah December 3rd here - And it is funny the things you hang on to - we were over the moon when we found out the cheque cleared lol - I mean there is only a zillion steps to come. Vegas is looking good - We are marrying on the West coast at this stage - Teresa's family are all there. So depending on finances, you might be on
