I've been having a really emotional day. I've cried a bit and just felt overall sadness. I miss my Nick terribly.

Your words really helped.

If it's of any help, I know what it feels like. This process is an emotional rollercoaster, especially since you can't be with the one person that means everything to you. I've had plenty of meltdowns and even though we got the approval last week, I'm still not my emotional self. All I can say is that the positive side of those really bad days and a really good cry is that you usually feel at least a bit better afterwards for a while.

Hang in there Laura. All the wait is worth it in the end. In a few months we won't have to communicate with our SOs over the phone, Skype, email anymore.

You'll make it through. My thoughts are with you!!! I'm sure the approval is on the way!!!!!

In every difficulty lies an island of opportunity.

Laura, I'm sending you warm hugs hugs3.gif....

I guess it is always different to be wishing congrats to people who have filed before you but when you start seeing people who filed within your time frame and even those who filed later than you getting approval left and right, there is just a painful sting even though you are genuinely happy for those who got their approvals really fast.

I'm praying you get your approval this week Laura... and I am praying all those who have been waiting for months will also get their approvals soonest... and I am praying for CSC to keep up with VSC soon... Sending hugs to everyone hug2a.gif

God speed!!!

Thanks hon (F)

You know, I'd say I'm a pretty positive person. I'm always able to tell others to stay positive.

It's not the length of time. We only filed just over 2 months ago. I prepared myself for a 4 to 6 month wait. It's seeing others around me who filed at the same time and quite a bit after me being approved that sucks. I feel left behind.

Thanks for your words sweetie :)

We are not frequent posters, but frequent readers of December K-1 forum. If it will be any comfort to any of you, I want to let you know that we received our approval notice vial email today stating that a letter was sent in the mail (NOT snail mail - USPS is my beloved employer:) ) on 24th. Don't ask me how they send a letter on Sunday.

I-129F was sent via USPS on Dec 9th to VSC and received on the 10th (not a bad service for the price huh)

NOA 1 was received after a couple of days.

My beloved noticed a touch on 2/17 (like most of you had)

She noticed another touch today, 2/25

Just saw the approval notice in email.

My guess is that everbody with a touch on 2/17 will get the approval notice sooner or later. I heard that cases are being split between employees and different employees work with cases of different difficulties and some may take a bit longer than others. (I am not 100% sure if that's the process).

Good Luck to Everyone. I know how frustrating it can be, but good things shall come.

Muthue and Jochan.
